Actually I put thetools in the shift-fX keys because of the walk problem. I'm always hitting the macros not the tools themselves. So I put my needed macros in the normal slots and items/sub macros in the shift-fX keys. In this vane I put all my armor in the shift fX keys slots and have one macro up top that puts it all on (or off) for me. Just a quick note if you hit shift after hitting shift-fX then the shift problem goes away but thats kind of a pain.

HI Xred,

To start a macro, first ctrl-a to bring up your commands. Select the macro options. Select the macro you want. Drag and drop it into the hotkey bar. (Its usually at the top of the screen) From now on you can just hit that f-key to trigger the macro. (This assumes that you have the right hotkey pane up) You have I believe 8 hotkey panes. You can hit ctrl-f1, ctrl-f2, ctrl-f3, to switch between panes. You should also note that there are actually 24 different hotkeys per pane, 12 f-key and 12 shift-fkey. To show all 24 you have to expand the height of the pane window.

Does a critical failure cause problems with the smooth running of the MajorGrind macro?

I ask this because when I am crafting manually and a failure occurs, I have to click on the crafting tool's BACK button in order to clear the Resource Slots (Windows) and then select (double-click on) the resources again.

Okay is there just a bug with me or does everyone's weapon tool act like a generic crafter now???

And is there a way to use the macro with schematics past 99?

this almost works for me! I created a schematic for rifle called 1 just 1

for some reason just after it pulls up 1 and I see the rifle schematic1 the next menu for picking thematerials brings up a liquid suspension base schema..?? note: i have no schematic for that in data pad.

any help? thx

ok .. i've narrowed it down.. how do i know the number of the schematic? the "title" you give it is not the schematic number.

thx

I also have the same prob here, are talking draft schematic or DP? cause DP if i picked a # lets say 150 it gives me an item i can actually craft but that i dont have in my DP as a schematic.

If we're tallking DP , that means we got to create a schem beforehand and then count in the DP excluding WP,Droids,Pets etc... ,even then i tried this and it got me somthing else,

Kinda also confused on this, i doesnt work 100%

Any help would be appreciated

Tnx

Okay, I haven't done too much grinding, yet (still upper level artisan, not yet WS), and I've never tried a grind macro.

So what's the slow part of grinding that this macro eliminates? The schematic selection?

Palinore -- Start the crafting tool. Then type /sel 10 in your chat window.Thenthe picture and the name of that item to be crafted will appear in the usual window of the crafting tool. Open your Datapad, and click on the Schematic tab. The item (DraftSchematic 10) will be highlighted. Next count either to the left or to the right of that item until you find the item that you want to craft. Say, you count six items to the right in order to find the item you want to grind. To test this out, close the crafting tool (or click on its Back button once). Then type /sel 16 in the chat window. The correct item should then appear. If it does, then you know for sure the correct number of the DraftSchematic.
