Thread: The exploit/bug of uber weapons/components is spreading.
"I know some of these have already been validated as on Taurins plate and he is well aware of them and working to get them squashed."
So that would tell me that if it is getting squashed that it is considered an exploit correct?
To get a bug/expoit fix is to publicly post it on the SWG discussion forum for all to know and to worn all user/buyer. That way will get fix immediately.
Else no point in keep bumping and got no response.

I know the silence has been killing all of you, but I wanted to give you an update on how things are going over here on this issue.
I am working with the dev team and CS departmentto not only fix what might be broken, so that no one can do it in the future, but also try and determine if any players are involved are using it as an unfair advantage.
I am hoping to have some news for you on what happened very soon, or for someone (higher up), to fill you all in on the results of our findings.
Again, thank you all for sending me all your information on this issue, and for keeping me informed on all the events that have taken place.

Again, quit whining that they wont fix it and post it. I garauntee it will be fixed within 1 day. Just like, credits dupe, resource dupe, and the half a dozen other major exploits that went unfixed until someone posted it publically where SOE could hide it... like exploiters.org where it can be completely anonymous.
Post it, so they fix it!
Its hard enough to sell weaponsagainst ones made withadvanced components or krayt tissue, let alone exploited ones.
The silence of the ones that know it is getting just as dubious as the exploit itself. Go to exploiter.com/forum, post it anonymously like he said, and then it can go away.

I know that seems like a flame, but read on..
Can you lie to me and say Vast DIDN'T invite you to his shop to SHOW you how he's making the weapons he makes? Did you take him up on his offer??? NO because you knew he could PROVE it.. Did you know that he had a IN GAME CSR validate the way he makes his weapons.. and (HE HAS THE SCREEN SHOT TO PROVE IT) they said he was not breaking ANY DUPING rules.. or "HACKING" the server.. if those of you who are accusing Vast of "HACKING SONY" knew him in person.. you would laugh your ass off.. I work for a major computer company and I have to fix his computer when it's broken.. LOL.. He's not a hacker.. ROFLMAO... I heard there is a another reason you might be pissed.. maybe it's because he sells guns for cheaper then you do (yes I have checked your prices) yet.. are still better then your weapons????
And, I know what you are thinking.. "this is just some deluded person who can't see our side of the picture".. well... if Vast was "criminally" exploiting the game.. Wouldn't the in game CSR have disciplined him?

(Nope, Vast never asked me, but after the screenshots provided by Certes, it only seemed apparent to me that there were more then 1 schematics of1k "Krayt" Power Handlers that were used, especially considering the amount of weaposn Fiku produced and sold.
In Game CSR has about as much knowledge of the inner workings and limitiations of the game as you do, which is nothing. Initially it seemed apparent that Fiku and Vast were duping, however it's apparent that what they were doing, actually Fiku,was "much worser" then it appears, taking advantage of schematics to produce weapons beyond "unexploited" methods.
No one ever accused anyone of hacking, sad fact that you can't distinguish the two tells me how "experienced" you are in fixing computer, it's the same as playing CS where all the newb childrens scream "hack" when it's just another "cheat" or "exploit" they are using, the stupidity amazes me sometimes.
Another note, prices doens't bother me, too bad I've only seen 2 weaponsmiths that seem "okay" by their methods, Only Fiku and Vast, the two that did take advantage of the bug/exploit.)

And.. LOL as for saying my knowledge of hacking and computers is pathetic 
hehe.. I don't mind you slamming me.I know there are people who know more then me.. So. you are saying it doesn't bother you that his prices are a lot less then yours for similar weapons? (as a businessman I would wonder that) You are saying that this process of "duping/exploiting/ect..." is known.. and dupliateable.. so.. why hasn't he been banned? You keep screaming that this is wrong.. illegal.. but you have slandered his name on the board.. giving any developer an ample"target" to inspect or "punish". But still nothing. So, I have sent a email toa developer requesting that he come see what is "going" on so that he can make the final distinction..
I hope he takes me up on this offer, because even though this is only a GAME.. your slander has ruined FIKU's game experience so that he's quit playing.. and Vast has been close to that too.
Oh.. here's a question for you Origin.. or anybody else who will answer.. When you accuse FIKU and VAST of cheating.. and you say you have proof.. what kind of proof is it? the super guns? or do you really have the "ability" to duplicate the "cheat" and make these guns yourself? Just curious

dude did you even **edit**ing bother to read this whole goddamn thread? Yes, if you undestand the dynamics of this bug ANYONE can cheat the system. This is why the flame started about posting on exploiter.com to begin with, to get a rapid fix. Even Taurin acknowleges the ease to 'trick the system' into getting results WAY beyond the design of the schematic. This translates to a BUG. HOWEVER, when knowlege of a bug is used repeatedly for personal gain of advancement or fortune at the expense of the credibility of players who chose not to, then you are an EXPLOITER. Because you knowits a bug and choose to hurt other smiths anyway. Atleast read the whole thread before you start a flame war, otherwise stop itsince its obvious you dont understand the profession.
