then again, if you're serious about playing the game with some level of a challenge to it, then by all means keep doing what you've been doing

I don't kow if its the buff or the change in the experiment algorithm made for the buffs that is causing this bug, but according to these posts there is a significant bug.

I believe the more serious issue is the one of being able to find an ATK entertainer when YOU log into play. Can I suggest making a wp to any ATK musicians and if there are none an instant musician buff.

i actually have a listing on my friends list of players that are musicians and dancers that are typically ATK, so i have that problem solved. that's the benefit of having always used players who were ATK only when needing anything from an entertainer instead of an AFK bot running a 3PP. the best way to solve your problem is begin travelling your galaxy and finding people that may be out there, just in non-high density areas...

I dont know what game ur playing but Im playing a game which has been out for 2 years+ and numbers are definately dwindling. I have just been on my character for the first time in an extended break and I have not been able to find any ATK entertainers. I hear my server is one of the more populated european servers. So if ur on a low populated and out of time zone server then how are u going to make friends with entertainers so u can add then to ur friends list when they are asleep in bed?

I see my last post was deleted, maybe it was because I said u should be listening to the playerbase rather than acting selfishly since u are the correspondant not an individual expressing his own views. You may be able to find ATK entertainers but its not possible on this server. Ive been logged on for too long and not found one TYVM.

My last post was probably articulated alot better and getting my point across more, since Im now cream crackered and ready for bed myself. I hope the ws forum doesnt turn into the warzone that the bh forum is.

Something is definitely off with the buffs. I haven't gotten any moderates, but the amazings aren't always as amazing as they should be.

Case in point: unbuffed, using 180-ish casings, I easily cap featherweights with an 8-pt amazing, leaving 4 pts for sac. Lately, though, an 8-pt amazing gets only about 955, buffed. With all other variables the same.

See even the players with the force crafting are not happy, when will u wake up man? Force sensitive crafting should be a benifit not detrimental to the newer player who has just spent all his cash on the uber loot and can ill-afford to make a sub-standard weapon (that is the correct term - think aboutit).

If ur the guy telling the devs what the ws community wants then I just give up, I really do.

ah...glad to see these here. I posted down below a few days ago, but looks like the party is up here!

Please allow me to cut and paste!

With a buff, and bespin port, using better subcomponents than my last factory runs - On final experimentation of the final product, I got 8 out of 12 amazings and my finished product is worse than pre-buff final product..

Stocks aren't coming out as good as pre buff implementation (all amazings, all #1 resources)

Scopes aren't coming out as good as pre buff impletmentation (all amazings, all #1 resources)

and YES I kept at my schem til I got all amazing successes on the subs. I went through a lot of product and a LOT of Bespin and a few log ins!

Something is fishey about the new buff. I see better final stats on a few subcomponents as well though if this helps (better barrels, abph's)

"i don't play anymore, just to clear that up"

Oh thats cleared it up alot thanks. The combat upgrade was about making getting back into the fight asap no - 30min buffing mind and doc buffs to be killed in 10 seconds. Thats not fun. The opposite it happening to weaponsmiths and other crafters. We like to make weapons.

We cant make weapons at all if we cant find a buffer, and we have to wait 40 minutes to make 2 more weapons if we are trying to make the best possible weapon ( and who doesnt?) because we get full on port. That being said there is no reason to tell us we should waste more time looking to make friends with entertainers.

You say "begin travelling your galaxy and finding people that may be out there, just in non-high density areas..." that doesnt make sence because muscians ( and we are not interested in dancers because they cant buff us, just to let u know) like to all meet and talk. Your statement that entertainers like to hide out in the far reaches of the galaxy is ludicrise. They are always ones looking for an audience and frequently u find them entertaining outside starports.

If u dont play anymore fine then just leave, and dont pretend to know what is best for the people still playing.

1. We want to be able to find a buff easily

2. We want the experimentation success to be a bonus and more akin to how it was before, like the lowest result was a great success and an amazing was better than a great (with all the trimmings and force sensitive crafting was not a requirement but a bonus).

I am sorry you are bad at finding players who can help you get the most out of your gaming experience, but I will not tolerate you taking your frustration out on me. What I said is true. I HAVE a list of dancers and musicians on my server who are almost always ATK. I find them by travelling to all worlds at all hours of the day. I find them by asking others I know if they know anyone. I have never logged on since this new change went in and not seen at least 3 names for each entertainer profession (except IDs) online. I have never had to say, "Oh well, I'll log on later and see if I can get my buff." Why? Because I make it a point to know the people I can help and who can help me. How dare you kick my opinions and suggestions to the curb because "I don't play anymore." This game, like it or not, was ALWAYS about community. They left some things in that made it solo'able for so long people began to think that it was made for solo players. Well, tough tacos bubba. Now it is back to the way it should have always been: Interdependency. That's real life, big'un. Get used to it. If you aren't willing to spend time looking for what you need to be successful, perhaps you should try an even easier game like WoW or EQ2. Here we promote community and friendships. You need to check your attitude at the EULA screen before coming in here and dropping your load of complaints on everyone and telling me to keep my opinions to myself. I have just as much rights to offer suggestions as you do to say, "no thanks." Forgive my outburst, but it's late, I'm tired, and I am very irritable and you just pushed a hot button. Show some freakin courtesy and respect for someone who was just trying to point out that this system is NOT unworkable, it just requires a higher level of dedication. You need to think about if you want to deliver that level of desire to play or not...

1. We want to be able to find a buff easily - Then convince the people on your server to tip better. Treasure every name you find who is a musician. If you treat them well, they will help you find others.

2. We want the experimentation success to be a bonus and more akin to how it was before, like the lowest result was a great success and an amazing was better than a great (with all the trimmings and force sensitive crafting was not a requirement but a bonus). - I cannot in good conscience endorse this because it makes the game A) too easy, and B) removes the need for a function of the game. If you choose to not have any force powers, then all those who do should be able to out craft you with their eyes closed. That's just the facts, baby. You wouldn't want 10 pointers equalling the work a 12 pointer can do, would you? If so, what's the reason of getting 12 points? Force crafters shold be hands down better than non force crafters, period. As for ease of play, force crafters have it too easy. Both of these classes need to be reworked because there is no cance to fail as a force crafter, meaning everyone ends up with the same stuff, and only resource quality matters. This is BAD for the game. It is BAD for the crafting system. It is BAD for those of us who used to feel as though there were something we did that made us better than others, be it through time devoted or knowledge gained. Crafting is a weak existence of what was once one of the greatest features of the game. I'll have words with anyone who wants to challenge me, because it's just a fact of the new system. This is weak, the last was broken, but had potential. This cannot be fixed, it would have to be torn down and rebuilt...

Most ents cant stand high spam areas. Mostly find them where their guild or friends are situated where they can chat all they want. Not have to fight through spam. It very very rarely takes me more than 5minutes to find a buff, I have made a large list of musicians that are normally ATK and play during my hours and this helps significantly, failing that my brother respec'd his MBH/Mrifles to Mdancer to get a cantina to house rare loots and act as a museum, I only use her as a last resort, try high-density areas. Try asking your guild. Try asking fellow crafters. It's not hard.

Hey Mor-Dan you sound like me, someone with not enough either patience or thick skin to take on a correspondent job. Let it roll off your back rather than rant and rave about someone taking shots since the person is either a few years older than one of our children or drunk. There's no need to lower yourself to someone else's level by responding to comments such as the one above. I rarely spend enough time to respond to this stuff, but come on with the tag goes a little responsibility. Much like customer service in a rl job, knowing when to stf up helps you keep your job and also tends to keep some people respecting you on the forums. I dont care if you were tired, hungry, or your left ear just got chewed off, BACK AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD, when you are angry since it clearly does not do you justice to respond to such taunts. Good luck if this job becomes yours, imo this forum is by far the nuttiest one out there and i like making weps but damn.

when i WAS corr, i had plenty thick skin. why? because i, too, was once in CS. i know they weren't mad at me. i was just the object they were directing their anger towards. i am a very good choice for that type of job because i understand why the polotics behind the scenes exist, even if i don't agree with them. i may still bear the tag, and i may occasioanlly look into an issue for them since i still have access to do so, but i hardly think anyone here in the WS forum expects me to perform a job i retired from, but just haven't been replaced yet.

and for those who are interested, i finally found a job.
