Ditto that one always gets me its hard to explain why I don't know the stats for a specific item out of 100's on my vendor and get them to understand in a short amount of time!

Here's mine -- very recent...

Customer: Hey.
Me: Hey.
Customer: Are you a rebel?
Me: Yeah...
Customer: Are you a master weaponsmith?
Me: Yeah...
Customer: Can you make me some schematics the components for XG Mines?

At which point it all comes together - the real question being...

Can you make me some schematics for the components for XG Mines because I just spent 500fp for a schematic and I really want to cut out the middle man -- you the weaponsmith -- and make my own mines.

TIP: In my vendor ad barking, it says: "Please be sure to use the 'Next Items' button to view all items." I recommend this. I had that, even had my vendor reminding them to use sub-categories... and telling them what categories VKs fall under. I think Ahazians get distracted by the frilly dresses.

We have "Friday Features" on all kinds of useless crap (including one on skill tapes that is 100% wrong from start to finish). What I would KILL to see are two "Friday Features" on the following topics:

1. HowA Free-Market Economy Works (since most people that play seemingly have no damn clue)


2. How To UseA Vendor (a detailed look at the unnecessarily complex and overly confusing vendor interface, with specific mention of the NEXT ITEMS BUTTON three or forty times)

What do you think? =)

That would have my vote.

Lol, u guys think u got it bad, Master Droid Engineer here,

We "supposedly" got some love last week, not love, a nightmare

1 Try answering the 10 thousand tells on patch day (and every day after that (sorry for over-exaggerating)) but u get my point, i want the most uber fed "roger-roger" droid u can make dude, ill pay BIIG credz for it...then I hav to say "sorry dude, cant make those", then the retort "but it shows them in the picture, so they must be in the game, man u must be the worst DE in game if u cant make those"... what is this crap....haha

2 Then there is the obligatory "can u make me the most Ub3r R3 Droid (at least they not askin for Droideka) with 6x100% combat modules for 2k?" then i say, "um no, it will be about 150k thanks" then the retort, "man u r such a rip off, my friends mothers dogs brothers sisters husbands pet kitten can make droids, and he sells them real cheap, ill get one off him"...haha, i dont wanna sell to n00bs anyways so thats fine...

3 using your profession as an example, and rocket launcher as a further example, from what I've seen of it, there are maybe about 7 components, with some subcomponents im sure too, thats fine, and u guys charge a heap for it and i gladly paid it when i was commando...now, just because DEs hav been charging small because droids did not have much use does not mean we have to continue to...over 30 components, most with sub components, just to make a combat droid...so i say screw the n00bs, ill charge what I want to...haha

And yes, I have even had a couple Master WS say the first 2examplesto me...

Sorry bout the rant, but it was a rant thread anyways, and I saw it lookin for components etc for DXR6 Rifle (so i ddnt hav to ask stupid questions to a Master WS :smileyvery-happy.

True, but at least weaponsmiths can make things that are useful to other players. Droid engineers have been waiting since launch for that chance, and from what I can tell, still are.

so like, can you guys also makes scythes and stuff too?

You know I get nearly as many request for armor as I do for weapons. I'm thinking I need to go into armorsmithing.

Customer: Hey!
Me:yo?
Customer: I bought a [weaponname] from [weaponsmith] but I saw a better one on your vendor. Will you buy it and sell me one of yours?
Me: I don't buy used weapons
Customer: I didn't use it much.
Me: Run a couple missions and you will be able to afford mine.


Guy: Can you make me [weaponname]?
Me: Shoot me an email and I'll get back to you when I sit down to craft.
Guy: Ok
[hours pass and no email comes]
Guy: So is that weapon ready?
Me: I never got an email.
Guy: But I told you in a tell
Me: I tol you in a tell to email me.

If I ask you to email me and you don't, I'm not going to make the weapon. Its not worth my time to make it if it isn't worth your time to send me an email when I ask.
