Yes, I was a beta 3 tester. I didnt have the option to uninstall because I chose to download the entire thing rather than wait for the CDs to arrive. Using the download method left you without an uninstall option.

However, before I installed the release version, I deleted my entire SWG directory and defragged. So unless they are hiding some settings somewhere other than the SWG directory... I shouldnt have anything left over from beta.

I'll keep trying to get it to work... and will report back here if I figure it out. I'll keep checking back in the hopes that you (or someone else) gets it to work.

i have had no success with /next or next crafting stage i've tried a number of variations but it hasn't wrked for me yet so i press return a bunch. Also when i use /createPrototype it just seems to cancel the crafting process and i lose what ever materials i put in. the others are working fine and i now have 5 crafting machines going. i had to switch to another toolbar with cntrl F2 to get /ui action toolbarSlot00 to work as well but other than that it was well worth the hour it took me to figure out how to get the commands that do work going.

I downloaded ACtool but havent played with that yet i looked for that spider thing that was mentioned i didn't find it andjust moved on to the in game macro.

i set up 5 macro's looping through each other as follows

/ui action toolbarSlot00; (selects crafting machine)

/selectDraftSchematic 54;

/pause 17;

/ui action toolbarSlot05; (selects next macro, the fifth macro then selects the first macro)

and just so everyone knows this is the exact way that i typed it in the caps and spacing are exactly what i put in my macro.

Hi,

Ok, i struggled with getting this to work properly and I have decided the following: (I was not a beta tester)

It works, but it is buggy. It has certainly helped me to build things faster.

The code provided with Irundil post is accurate, although you might want to consider adding ( semicolons to the end of the lines he doesn't show them. Remember that you do NOT want a ( at the end of the last line.

The hardest part is figuring out which data schematic slot to name as there doesn't seem to be any consistency with this. So, i recommend just selecting a higher number, like 67 and then see which schematic is gives you, then count forward or back until you get the one you want and it will work fine.

Another screwy detailI experienced was that when I logged in yesterday, I had to redesignate the number I had used as the data schematic. Once I changed it I had not other problems. I don't know if this is because of the patch on Wednesday or not, I will find out tonight.

Then, be aware, this happens quickly, once you open the crafting tool and use your macro, you have only the designated time that you stated to click in all of your materials. Then it closes abruptly and you get a message that says, "Your crafting station has been closed" (something like that). You will see the timer working and you will know that an item is being created. If you don't enter items quick enough it will close and give you 2 lines of "Your crafting station has been closed".

It hasn't been smooth, but it works if you don't mind fiddling with it and it has enabled me to work much faster. Can be pretty intense if you set your time allotment low.

Good luck!

i'm unable to test this, but does anyone know if you can put resources into a toolbar? and then have it select the resources? if so does it work?

Woah, I haven't tried that one. Great idea. I'm at work, so someone launch the game real fast and check out that idea. I don't know how the game will react to a resource container in the box, but its worth a shot. Post the results when you get them. If no one does, I'll try it out myself when I log on at 1800 CT.

I believe since the default action on resource containers is 'split' thats what you'll get using the F keys, however i am trying your macro for the first time, and the order of my items is like this

D18, blaster rifle barrel, something else

64 65 66

blaster rifle barrel doesnt have a number associated with it.

Whats up with that? it skips right over blaster rifle barrel.

Thanks,

<quote>For some reason, neither one worked for me. I also tried "/nextCraftingStage" since that is what you see in the help list. It didn't work when I typed it in manually either. </quote>

Here's what I found: If you use /nextcraftingstage, and leave the window open for the crafting station, you will not see any change. However, if you use "/nextcraftingstage; /nextcraftingstage; /nextcraftingstage; /createprototype;/createprototype;", then your prototype gets made and the crafting station closes, even though the image on the crafting station doesn't change. You can't see it happening.

Curious, how did you find the command /selectdraftschematic, /nextcraftstage, and /createprototype? I was looking for a way to assist in grinding but couldn't find it under /help, manual, nor online guide.

I tried combination of /practice, /mode, /checkbox but can't find the practice command.

P.S. If you're tired of typing that much, you can type just enought to differentiate the command. So /sel X; /ne; /ne; /createp; /createp work the same.

IIRC my macro goes something like this:

/ui action toolbarSlot00

/selectdraftschematic 82

/pause 5

/next

/next

/createprototype

/createprototype

/pause 3 - Need to pause or will get error starting next station

Repeat above and add to value of ToolbarSlotXX by 1for each iteration

After last crafting tool has been used, restart macro by accessing F-key where macro resides

/pause 5 - I had to test a couple times to not overlap before the first item completed

/ui action toolbarSlot07

just wanted to add that in testing this macro out i found it works perfectly, but when i was standing near the public Crafting station > it would not work<. Standing 2 or 3 tiles away ,or at the bank ,the macro works great. Not sure why that is.

Tip: you can allso make money when you are macroing.

-Find a spot close to town with 65% of any mineral, make a wp.

-Get a two artisan missions asking for the mineral you have maked just outside of town.

- Now while you are macroing you can run back and forth repeating the missions over and over.

( i was able to make 30k in a day doing this and allso powering through novice weapon smithing)

keeps it intersting

This is because standing near a crafting station gives you several more schematics and thus changes the numbers for which schematic you're using with /selectdraftschematic
