Thread: MACRO: EASE THE GRIND

I entered the macro exactly and it lets me enter the resources and then closes the box and says "THE CRAFTING STAGE HAS ENDED." What the hell does that mean? It uses the resources, gives no XP and the product is also not in my inventory. What did I do wrong?

A couple of things to remember.

Caps make a difference

add semicolon ( ; ) to end of each command

begin each command with slash ( / )

95% of time your problems are caused by forgetting one of these.

see this is why this game sucks - you gotta make macros - which are internal to the game and even those DON'T WORK!

this is quite frusrtating how the macro's don't even work right.

i got it set exactly and it just ends after i select the resources and wait a couple seconds. It won't go to the next stage it just ends.

/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/sel 63;
/pause 5; [- after this it just closes and ends and gives me a message that it ended.
/ne;
/ne;
/createp;
/createp;

[ugh! hey devs! arrows are not tags!]

i got it ...

/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/sel 63;
/pause 5; [- after this it just closes and ends and gives me a message that it ended.
/next;
/next;
/createp;
/createp;

this works for me anyway ... i'll try and guess how to practice

I checked everything on the macro character for character and it was correct. There were no missing / or ;

I will try the other script to see if it works, but so far all I keep getting is "The Crafting Session has Ended" with no end product and the metals used with NO XP. Sucks when a macro semi-works (unfortunately not in my favor any).

Ok. I figured out the Practice problem. I am a tailor but this may work work you WS as well. Here is what I am doing:

In my hotbar i have 5 crafting tools in a row (slots 00 - 04), in slot 06 i have a master macro called majorgrind, in slot 07 through slot 11 i have macros labelled grind1 through grind5.

Majorgrind:

/ui action toolbarSlot07;

/pause 8;

/ui action toolbarSlot08;

/pause 8;

/ui action toolbarSlot09;

/pause 8;

/ui action toolbarSlot10;

/pause 8;

/ui action toolbarSlot11;

/pause 8;

/ui action toolbarSlot06;

/pause 8;

Grind1: (located in slot07)

/ui action toolbarSlot01;

/pause 1;

/sel 56; [this is shorthand for /selectdraftschematic 56 which is a ribbed shirt for me]

/pause 4; [this provides me just enough time to double click the two components required]

/nextCraftingStage;

/nextCraftingStage;

/createPrototype practice no item;

/createPrototype practice no item;

Grind 2 through 5 are the same with the only change being the slot called for the crafting tool in line 1.

This generates practice xp values and does not leave an item in inventory. The only action required by you is two double clicks (if your item requires two materials)

Hope this helps all of you.

fly safe,

You can enable practice by changing your createprototype commands to:

/createprototype practice no item;

This will give you a 5% xp bonus and eliminate the need to destroy the items.

Great Macro, Irundil, and thank you!

I've used it a thousand times, and love it.

Re your: have not been able to "practice" an item yet, so it still places the item in your inventory... which will fill up quick.

I ran across the following yesterday, which I tried this morning and it WORKS!!

Replace your last two lines with:

/createprototype practice no item;

/createprototype practice no item

and you're not creating anything, but still getting the crafting points!!!
