okay tried it out now and it seems that if you put the weapon into the kit you can either make it no decay or you can pull it out. So my guess is that if you apply the anti decay you wont be able to retrieve it

I'm sorry but that was obvious, I cant believe you read it would work any other way, it certainly wasnt the interpretation anyone I know came up with.

true it might be obvious, but I would have found it obvious that the devs wouldnt put in a thing thats makes anti decay on weapons in the first place. Excuse me for being sceptical

apparently you pull the weapon into the kit and it doesnt decay while in there, then you can retrieve it from the kit and put another into it.. at least thats what I get from reading the description on the actual kit ingame...

If this is the case, then we'll raise holy hell. I'll be at work all day (and in meetings all morning), so let me know what you guys find out.

That is spot on, everyone with an account open for 12 months no longer needs to purchase new weapons ever....

Found I was wrong.... I have just applied my kit to my +230 damage VK's and the kit disappears... But on a side note, I am never going to be buying any more VK's

This is my point, you used yours on your VK, Joe Naboo will use his on his T21 etc etc, there will always be a market for other weapons you will use from now to your game ends.

Personally speaking, anyone using it before the CU is a fool.

but really most master elites use looted weapons weaponsmith weapons are good for grinding but why would i use a 450 max damage lva when i can go to nightsisters and loot one 1k max damage and use it anyways pikes drop alot there so why bother using a weaponsmith made one?

Heres something Cal recently said in another post:

"you can delete the lightsaber and use the anti-decay kit on a new lightsaber as many times as you want. This is true for any item that can be used with an anti-decay kit. So basically, you aren't screwed if you use the anti-decay kit on one item and then two days later get something much cooler that you'd rather use it on. You do have to make the decision to delete the item currently attached to anti-decay kit before using the kit on the new item though."

So this kit can be essentially removed from the weapon (or whatever it was on) and put on something else. But the only way to remove it is to delete the weapon.

bah, what he said

You guys aware that if you delete the weapon the kit is used on, the kit ends up back in the inventory for reuse. Ok it might delete a good weapon, but if im rifleman using a normal 35% sliced krayt t21, and decide to go fencer, i can destroy that t21 and put the kit in a similar stun baton.

Which means that this kit can last through all combat (until the CU that is) no matter if youre changing template or not. But I can see that someone might be hesitant to destroy a legendary/exceptional weapon for the sake of changing template.

I'm afraid that people who have things like this are just going to go spam happy.... And my view on those who say that Master Swordsman should have 2 weapons and so this won't be used.... This thing is gonna do 10x the damage than a 500 max scythe... not gonna be too happy this is the dps calcs for a master swordsman with only +11 2h speed.... thats still 5k/sec in pvp... = everyone dead. Also = Elders die quick since it won't decay at all.

Yep I'm worried
