LOL. This is awesome. I have another one:

Customer: Can you make me an uber krayt laser rifle?

Weaponsmith: Sure, just bring me some krayt tissue and I'll make you one.

Customer: Well can you help me get some?

Weaponsmith: You get them off Krayt Dragons, and they're really hard to kill, and I have no combat skills.

Customer: Well I'll protect you, don't worry.

Weaponsmith: Have you ever fought a Krayt Dragon?

Customer: No, but it should be easy.

Ok, like im going to shuttle out of Cornet (#1 lag hole) to get to Theed (#2 lag hole) to fly into Rori, to ride my bike out 8k to sell a Rifle? Ummm...not.

C-Can you make them Specific to my style, that is cheap and is wont break my account? But Im not sure what I want to be yet. So if I return it will I get credit later?

Ok, this covers alot of stupidity. First off, ask the damn question, second dont ask for Specifics (I for one will do my best, but there is only so much you can do before the other stats are about usless) and if you want the best--expect it to drain the account some, third when someone says BRB...respect it, and forth I dont do credits on over used weapons.Oie.

i like my master WS title, but i only use it when im far away from the cities, i remember using my novice WS title when i was.. exactly that, had 0000 skills in WS, and entered coronet.. after that i always remove my title when entering a city

today i was a short trip to mining outpost on dant, and this guy notices my master WS title and goes.. hey how much for a crappy schyte, im only going to use it as decorationi... like i would ever make a crappy schyte, when making weapons with limited schematics you only go for the best quality you can get ... well atleast i do

I liked that ones:

1)

"I need a weapon!"
2 minutes silence after that.

I was tempted to answer: "I have a weapon!" but thinking on how slow this conversation might go on I chose to ignore him.

2)

"Can you make me a -gunname-? Here and now?"

"No, I don't carry all of my 50 named resources for all of my weapons with me, besides if I handcrafted the subcomponents without multiple tries you would get a suboptimal weapon."

"Doh, what master WS are you...?"

3)

Coronet Customer: "I need a scatter pistol!"
Me: "I am sorry I don't have any with me, please visit my shop on Naboo. I can send you a waypoint if you like."
Coronet Customer: "Other weaponsmiths carry crates with their weapons with them."
Me: "I can make 60 weapons, so should I carry 60 crates with me?"
Coronet Customer: "Well, why not at least the most wanted ones...?"
Me: "Well, if every weaponsmith would carry the most wanted weapons with them, you would search for another weapons since you can buy the other ones easily..."
Coronet Customer: "Sorry to have bothered you."

Then there is the guy that refuses to pay sales tax on a weapon on the vendor and demands that you remove it from the vendor and trade with him.

If someone is being an @ss, have fun with them. Its fun to make an a-hole feel like the complete idiot he is. IF the nag you to repair there weapon , repair it and tell them it broke, then wait about 10 seconds to see the thousand character rant, then tell him you were jsut kidding and give him his weapon back. And I say HE when refering to the leet kids becuase it is a male,the few young teenage girls that play this game are most always quite polite for some reason and if they ask the stupid questions that are previously stated in this thread and you fill them in on how it is, they are appreciative of your help.

Hunting on Dath, in the middle of nowhere, with some guildies and a guy rides into our camp. He chats for a bit as we are healing up. Then the inevitible happens:

Newcomer: "Err, hey ... you are a weaponsmith?"

Me: "Yessir."

Newcomer: "I need a new T21. You make good ones?"

Me: "I seem to sell alot of them, so, yes I think I make decent T21s."

Newcomer: "I'd like to buy one."

Me: "I'm afraid I don't have my resources and crafting tools with me."

Newcomer: "So you can't sell me one right now?"

Me: "Afraid not. I can email you a WP to my shop, I have some on my vendor."

Newcomer: "Mine's about to break, I need one now."

Me: "Sorry, don't carry them with me and I don't have the stuff on me to make them out here."

Newcomer: "Hey, you guys doing money missions? Can I hook up with you all, I need cash to make the shuttle fare to get off this rock."

Never fails. The requested weapon changes, but the dialogue remains the same. I now always hunt with the title of 'Homemaker'.

Nothing sends a chill up my spine like a guildie or in game aquaintence telling me,"I just refererred someone to you." I have to at least be cordial but I know it's still going to be a situation I'm going to cringe over.

I was at tuskan grinding some pistoleer XP taking a breather in a quiet part of the cave.
Tell Hellian:Hey I heard your a MWS
Me: Yeah how can I help you?
Tell Hellian: I want a Scythe Sword
Me: Well that requires a special Schematic and cores. (I had just used mine up)
Tell Hellian: I have some can you come craft it right now.
Me: (being half an hour into 3 hours of buffs) Um I'm in the middle of Ft. Tuskan right now.
Tell Hellian: So you could be here in 20 mins?, I'll meet you at your workshop.
Me: Well I was kind of in the middle of a guild event here. Offer the components to my vendor and I'll craft it when I'm done.
Tell Hellian: No I have a guild mate who's a weaponsmith, I can have him craft it tommorrow for free! I just wanted it now and was told you could do it. And I wanted to let you have a chance to use the schematic and make me two.
Me: Well I hope your guildie does a good job!

1. I craft on my time. It's rare I get chances to go out and hunt/raid with my guild so I take them when I can.

2. Oh please can I use a schematic, it brings me joy!! Usually if someone wants a weapon for low cost I keep extra craft and extra cores, but no this guy was going to give me the pleasure of crafting!! New schematics lost their luster...well maybe the genosian blaster would bring me joy.

Me: I like to think so, yeah. What kind of stats were you looking for?

Customer: Really fast and really good damage!

Me: Ok... did you have any numbers in mind? Like 75-150 damage and 2.3 speed (yes, I'm pulling random numbers from my head)? Or what? And do you care about HAM costs at all?

Customer: <silence>

I suppose I should just make my schematics titled "Really fast and really damaging [random weapon.]" That takes all the thought out of buying something... Boy... if only selling cars was that easy... "Come test drive the new Toyota "Reallygood acceleration with Good Gas Mileage hatchback" at your local Toyota dealer!"

I recently master weaponsmith, 3 days ago or so. I have already had a few interesting conversations. The random tells asking what my weapon stats are make me laugh. Do they really expect us to just rattle all the weapon stats off for all my weapons?

Last night in Mos Espa I was helping a friend get started, made him a couple weapons and a guy asks the commom "Dude, you make good guns?"

I was not in a mood to answer nicely, so I just replied to him "No, all my guns suck and cdef are a better choice."

After that he just walked off.

Maybe we should email all players a little noob info on weapons.

Can't wait till i get asked for armor, wonder if he will mind a really expensive set of bone?
