Is there any reference (online or ingame) that gives us a current and complete list of macro commands?

mining minerals is easier to get then hide. I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you are a power gamer and need to grind combat xp and then you get the hide. But this guide are for folks who aren't power gamers and don't have that kind of time to play.

Harvestors are great because it mines even when you are away and offline where as for hide you have to kill hundreds of MoB's and it takes a lot of time.

Hey, how much do harvesters cost, generally? I've yet to invest in any, but I am curious (it beats sitting around sampling all the bloody time).

you can get one for like a 1000 credits or you can make your own if you have eng3. It costs 1500 Maintenance and 1500 power (about rough estimate) to run it for 2 days. to get 1500 power you need to get a power generator. Either wind or solar or fusion. Wind generator costs about 1500 and will get you 3k a day at a 40% spot. Solar will get you 6k of a power a day at a 40% spot and finally a fusion i never used but i imagine that will get you 12k of power a day.

At a 75% spot you can get 2.5k a day. 1000 to buy one+1500 of maint to start +3000 to get 6k power and then as the days go by just keep adding the power and maint. The maintenance for a harvestors is insane. But after awhile you get use to it and it's worth it. Use one for now if your just starting and learn from there. 2.5k is a lot more then the measily 500 you might get sitting there for an hour or two. Just plop a harvestor and move on with life.

There are other harvestors too like medium (5k)and large (60k to buy).

Hey, Pragmatous, I was wondering about your macros recently. Whenever I've tried using them, I have to manually close the crafting window at the end of each crafting session, and do so quickly before the new window opens or the whole thing gets screwed up. Just wondering if i'm missing a step in the macro or if that's how it's supposed to work. Thanks!

Copy down what you have in your macro. Probably missing a step maybe? I still have what i posted and works fine.

Well, I'm at work at the moment. I'll copy it down whenI get home tonight. I'm pretty sure it's identical to yours, though I might've used someone else's. It works quite well, you just have to click a little more often. Still saves me a TON of time. I'm only 5K away from FA1 now, thanks to cranking out practiced WUKs.

also, if your casual, like me, find a great spot 1000 m away from town, so you can run survey missions when you check your harvesters to pay for em

Hey Solo,

Just a tip from a casual gamer who just found the 'secret' to harvesters.

Wait until you have a good bankroll, like around 20k credits. Then buy/craft/steal/beg 3 wind harvesters. Find your spot and pay for 4 days maint UP FRONT.

This way you won't have to worry about running out to them daily, and if you can't log on for one day, fine.

Then on the 4th day, empty them all and redeed them. This should get you a bunch of power.

Repeat with Mineral Harvesters. Pay the maint up front.

Needless to say, I HATE doing harvester runs, so any wayout of them is a good thing in my mind.
