Thread: 2nd CSR Raid at my shop
Thats not a bad idea you have the number?

Get on the phone and ask for the CSR's supervisor. Be polite, yet firm and get a review of the CSR's handling of your case. Make sure you have worked out through numbers how you built one or two of those items and if you can have an unsliced example of your work that is of similar if not better caliber. The chance of those weapons still being around is slim, but you might be able to get them back. If you can't get them back, you might try for a formal written apology from SOE sent by snail mail. Makes for a interesting RL trophy.![]()

The CSR in response to an email my buddy had sent that had been there with me, was of little use as he didnt say much more than that he was sorry and that we should inform the devs of this kind of stuff.....of course he had deleted the weapon before he even could realize it wasnt sliced. I do have another, but I try to avoid CSRs if i can. Imagine those players that cry exploit when they see uber weapons, or anything for that matter, andgive them absolute in-game power and you would have the average CSR.
I believe any weapon with a higher min than max was officially ruled a bugged weapon and will be confiscated. Shrug, things like this happen in a huge game like this.

SOE should own up to their mistake and command CSR's to replace bugged bones with good ones. Just flip the min/max if the min is higher.
I'm sorry but the more I read of this thread the more astounded I've become.
You are being accused of the multi-slice exploit by SOE's trained monkeys. Surely these people get some form of basic training when looking for this stuff.
Any n00b WS can tell you that there is no way to enhance a pistol's minimum dmg, save for perhaps exceptional barrels from a krayt. So the obvious way to spot a multi-sliced pistol is to look at the feasible minimum dmg on that type of pistol and then add on a figure of +/-25% (for one average dmg slice). If the minimum dmg is outside this bracket then in the vastmajority of casesthe weapon has been multi-sliced. As for ultra low speed: we all KNOW that krayt tissue has spawned that is in the -2.0 region and that pre nerf scatters and launchers could also use nym's HVFMs or balanced feed mechs from Rori.
The thing about the acklay bones makes me glad never to have even set eyes on the d@mn things: if these were programmed to drop in the way they did then why are they now being STOLEN from players who may have worked hard or paid dearly to get them? If they're game breaking then they should be REPLACED not just deleted: this is the dav's snafu but paying customers are the ones who suffer? That's a joke right there.
It simply comes down to the fact that the people charged with policing the game do not even have a vague understanding of the loot enhancement systems, the crafting systems or the slicing systems. Surely this should be a prerequisite of any CSR who is given the task of doing work like this. They seem to know what they're doing when it comes to supervising base take downs or similar exploitable combat situations, but when itcomes to the backbone of this game (crafting) they haven't got a ****ing clue.
Fight the power.
You know I like the idea of the test center to sort these things out. The problem. Is that atleast from what I heard. Its a gigantic pile of code dropped on your doorstep, and will very likely blow your pc up, and send you falling into the black pit of calcutta. Then again I am starting to feal like the csrs are getting out of line, and doing things they shouldnt do. I heard a couple weeks back that a csr just decided to deathblow kill pcs, because he did not think a base battle was fair. Now they are just takeing stuff from people. Heck a couple months back someone deleted the player city I lived in. Which I am pretty dang sure was the work of a csr.
Maybe what we need is a csr investigations unit. To crack down on out of line csrs. The facts are a csr rarely resolves something. He cannot get a vanished item back. He cannot refund you credits for harvesters that ran at 1000 credits a hour. A csr cannot do much of anything really. Except tell you its a known issue, or we are passing it along to the devs. I work in retail I know what this kind of thing means. I have no clue why it does this, or why the idiotic devs refuse to fix it. We arent even aloud to talk to thpse guys. I hate to say it but I blame the devs more then csrs. While the devs keep adding stuff and not fixing anything. Who gets to clean up the mess.
The devs are not fixing the weapons systems loots are out of line, and on top of that the sliceing system is idiotic. Then they probabally tell these guys. We want you to make sure the game is cleaned up of all these cheating guns. So these guys are handicapped from the get go. They are given orders to do things that make no sense. I guess if you or I was in this kind of a madhouse we would be a tad testy too. What he did was not right, but in all reason what can he do. The guy is in charge of doing thousands of things each day. The game is such a sesspool of exploits, and horrid glitches. He is just doing his best to keep everyone happy.
Though I bet if you have the scematics of your weapons on your datapad he would have seen them. Remember when you are multitasking any shortcut is welcomed. Besides a slide of schematics is a fun thing to have. Gives you a comparission to work from, and a way to show what your weapons stats are.
There is part of the problem. There are more ways to exploit alter a weapon other then sliceing. Sometimes things that shouldnt work can work. I have stumbled on some of these screwups in the game myself accidentally. They are kind of left out in the wind on this I bet. They want to keep the playing enviroment fair, but have no way of confirming if an item is obviously exploited.
I mean how often do we say on this board that no that gun is a lie. Even we the people that spend most of our time makeing weapons cannot say for certain if its exploited or not. What chance does a csr have.
When I read the stats on these weapons out of context they sound like an exploit weapon to me. So which theory would you go with a crafter found the most fantastic stuff imageinable, and was able to somehow make these items, or that the answer for these weapons is the more common one, and that they are exploit multiple slices.
We use this rational all the time ourselves in real life. If it smells like pizza looks like pizza and tastes like pizza in all liklihood it is pizza. Sure it could be something very similar to pizza, but what are the chances. If we want the csrs to have concrete proof guess what will never happen any exploit control whatsoever. Yes loseing stuff like this blows, but doing nothing blows even more.
You are looking at it through a very self serveing view. You are not seeing that if nothing is done to combat exploit weapons the game will continue to inbalance, and more people will quit in disgust.
Number one way to win your case on uber weapons is as follows make the schematic, and do not use it up leave it in a factory.
That way if a csr says its not possible you can prove it. If it is possible smear the csrs name all over the board and tell people on your server to right it down. That way if the csr contacts someone about something they can say this.
Oh I am sorry I was looking for someone that knew what they were talking about.
If you smack that schematic down in their faces they cannot say anything to the contrary, and with that solid proof. If they still say nope not possible uh uh. I would contact sony directly with a complaint about employee harassment. Give them the csrs name and the fact that you did prove to him that you did not cheat. Start useing big words like slander and defimation of character and fraud.
If they feal the gun is unfair, and you made it within the rules of the game. Then tell them to take it up with the devs and have them fix the crafting system. That things like tissues will not break hardcaps on certain weapons.

So is the investigation still on or did they leave you alone yet?
Sent an email on thursday with no response... I'm gonna try the phone on Monday.
