I see it as unlikely that they'll do this in the near future. A lot of crafters (myself included) have been forced to get multiple accounts to store our materials. That being the case, extra storage=lost revenue for SOE.
I know it's possible to get additional storage through lot trades- but I'm sure not going to placemillions of credits worth of materials/items in a house owned by another person...

ignoring my DE biz i use 1 house for wpns crafting and rest of lots for resources also and a vendor for storage with about 25 bags at a total of 900 or so crates and resources for wpns...and im a mid to small producer of wpns. heavily agree we need tons more storage.

I think the real solution is pet monkeys that can hold our items while we craft, perhaps singing and dancing as well

Agreed, in that it will be unlikely we'll see this any time soon.
Ever since the post-Krayt loot components have been introduced, lack of storage has been one of the top priorities. Unfortunately, it's not one of the top priorities for the Developers. I think we will definitely see a storage solution *eventually*, but the likelihood of seeing it at any point before the Combat Balance is very slim.

screw the warehouse, just let us stack loot.
You sample 9 units of copper, it takes 1 unit of inv space. You can split it into smaller piles, single off 1 unit, it's a wonderful system, and very necessary given how many resources a WS is required to have.
Ever since the geo lab went live, we've been in dire need of a system like this for loot. A 5 unit drop of krayt tissues should be stacked into using up 1 unt of inv space. It's just simple and makes sense.
I have a storage vendor just for loot, and it has over 250 items on it, all of which are backpacks with 10-40 pieces of loot inside. Tell me how I'm going to store all this stuff when the merchant change goes live? I'll have to cram the backpacks fuller, make sure my inv is emptier so I can retrieve one pack, and probably use 2-3 storage vendors.
Vendors were never meant for storage, but the state of the game leaves no other option. If I were to use houses and factories alone to store my collected goods, I could easily fill an entire player city.

I have 2 accounts just so I can have enough storage to hold all the resources.
WS account runs 1 factory, 1 merchant tent, 8 harvesters.
Smuggler account has 1 large house, 1 medium house, 2 factories.
And I have had to resort to storing stuff in the factories because everything is maxed out.

Give us some decent resources on Radiant please!!!!

I am still amazed that when I put 50, 100K stacks of metal into a backpack, that I can equip it and walk around as if nothing is wrong.......
I have about 7 backpacks like this now. Cross server lot trades are beside the point. Weaponsmith extra storage is about as likely as Master Smuggler box getting something put into it......
/agree with original idea in this post.

It really is absurd. Wish SOE was receptive to community concerns...
