Ok, so what resources does it need for WUKs? Just steel? If so, how much per WUK? Is anyone willing to do this for me if I provide the resources?

Is there not a single weaponsmith that will help me in this, and possibly gain some XP for yourselves?

Apparently there isn't a single Novice Weaponsmith in game that wants the money or XP as I've had no replies as of yet :-(

Still, my holocron told me to become a master CH, so there's no urgent need for WUKs now... I would buy them for future use, but you never know, my next holo might tell me to become a master Weaponsmith so I could end up being able to make them myself :-)

I have a weaponsmith on Chimaera that is not yet master (I do not grind much). I do not visit the forums as often here in the holydays, but let me brake it down for you...

1st, I would not get any XP from making a schematic, so the only thing that could motivate me to make a schematic for you to run your self would be credits. And credits are not that imported to me.
I could run the schematic my sell and sell you the crates of WUKs, but if you read the "Disgruntled Weaponsmith about smugglers" topic, you will se why I would not do that... And frankly speaking, I do not much like smugglers. It would take some serious convincing to make me sell WUKs to anyone who was not a friend or associates of my character (I am a role player first and foremost).

2nd, I would not get xp for making crated of guns either, so again my only motivation for doing that would be credit, and just making all thoughts weapons by hand and then selling them at dumping prices would give xp as well as giving me some credits from the sales.
More over any weapons sole by a slicer in training would be in direct competition with the weapons I make, and a low-end slice weapon is not purchased by the same people that wand the high end slices.
So selling you crated of cheap weapons would be cutting my self of from future profit.

I would say that your best bet would be to find a hologrinder-weaponsmith who would be willing to make you a few thousand WUKs for a cheep bug, and then go advertise "free slices by a smuggler in training" at AH or cornet or another high traffic town.

all pre-pub 19 wuks,out of crates can be converted into the new slicing items by smugglers, but now they are no longer craftable by WS

Ones taken from crates dont have the salvage option,EXCEPT the last one.Not sure if this is a bug or by design.

Yeah. None of the smuggler tools are now craftable either. It's a purely loot only system for smuggler slicing now.
