20-30? At the most, I've seen maybe 5 or 6, and I haven't seen any on the bazaar the last week or so, though starting this weekend, a Smuggler shop will be opening up on Naboo that will supply all Starsider Smugglers with all the tools they need. It's going tohave crates ofWUKs, AUKs, Molecular Clamps, Precision Laser Knives, etc. Will also have Locked Containers that are unsliced.

Hey Rudd (or whomever) - is it true that WUKS and AUKS don't affect the slice? I have heard lots of things - some say it does, some say it doesn't. I can't find anything DEFINITIVE to tell me either way.

I am also a smuggler on Valcyn and have a business partner (real life mate) who is a weapons smith with a factory. I alsohave novice armor smith. So if any Valcyn smugglers are struggling for WUK's or AUK's give me a tell in game. I also have a Food and chem factory for crates of spice if anyone wants to do a run. Based just outside Narmle on Rori.

Hello, I have a Smuggler on Valcyn who just got novice smuggler today, (still fairly new to the game as well)

I have already learned Slicing 1 (went alot faster than i thought, i had people lined up *no fans or clamps*) and Spices 1.

I'm already starting to look into Weapon slicing, and i had a question as to how i am suppose to obtain Weapon Upgrade kits, I noticed Novice Weap Smiths make them, i checked thier vendors and they didn't have them

I read once that there isn't much money made in WUK's so do i have to order crates directly, or should i buy a Schematic (sp) and produce them in a factory of my own? i currently have a copper and floral harvester going.

Any help would be great, and i'll be on Coronet all day tommorow working up slicing

They are only 20Metal 10Chem to make. Even if your buying your resources, that isn't much up front cost. Since the quality of the Kit doesn't matter at this point, you can just buy the cheapest junk and have someone make you a schem. Then you can produce as many as you like.

I just got Slicing II today, and in order to Slice weapons I need a weapon upgrade kit, which is fine, it makes sense. But are they supposed to be used up after each upgrade? This is going to cost me a lot, because i cant make my own weapon upgrade kits. Any feedback would be great.

For every weapon slice, you use a Weapon Upgrade Kit. Once it's used, it's gone and you need another one to slice another weapon. Same goes for armor and Armor Upgrade Kits.

Usually have them for sale at my Slicing Supply Store by the crate

Does anyone else think they should use weaponsmith experimenting instead of artisan? It just doesn't make since everything I make for slicing that you get the schematics for during smuggler are weaponsmith experimentation points (FANs, Clamps, Knives) but WUKs use artisan.

I'm a novice smuggler and have just reached level 2 slicing which allows me to slice basic weapons. In order to slice basic weapons I need weapon upgrade kits, apparently one for each slice.

I'm told that novice weaponsmiths can make a schematic for WUKs which I can then use to make myself, is this correct? If it is, would one of you lovely people /tell razma the price of one and where I can pick it up on Chimaera please?

If I can't use a schematic to make them myself, do any of you make them in a factory for people like me that I can buy in bulk?

I'd also be interested in buying a few crates of crappy pistols or rifles which I can practice on if one of you needs the xp from making them :-)

You need to provide the resources to the weaponsmith and they could make the schem based upon that resource. They will need to feed that resource to the factory for you (admin access). Then you could pump out the WUKs based upon that schem.
