Yup. I'm getting fewer "falls to pieces" failures now, but FAR FEWER "minor blemishes" than I used to. I'm advising customers that they should wait on repairs, if possible, until this is fixed.

I also recomended all customers to wait a bit and not repair any krayt weapons until the devs pulls their head out of their... yeah.. well answers this question..

Sorry if my english is not good but i have some question on the weapons repair.

I have a Weaponsmith tool's belt and i am master WS master Artisan.

I have made some factory crate of weapons Repair kit at a success of 99.80%.

My belt give me 5 points of reapairing Expérience.

I look for clothing attachement but they are a kind rare

Hereare my questions :

I see in that post that many people speak of the weapons droid and general crafting station, is it necesary tu be near a station to repair a weapon?

Where can i find clothing or armor attachement that give good weapons reapair XP?

Why dont the reapair Xp is not a part of the WeaponSmith template?

Thank you in advance and may the force help you.

Test performed near Narmle,Rori, using 100% repair kits, no skill tapes, no nearby crafting stations.

Out of 40 attempts, 6 5% reductions, 33 20% reductions, 1 100% reduction.

I'm not the Weaponsmith Correspondent but I do happen to be a MWS on Starsider so this is important to me. I just wanted to stop by and say thatthe larger sample sizes of repairoutcomes we can get the better. While our personal experiences suggest that this is an issue, data is our best friend in making this case to the devs. I'll try to work on it a bit myself as well.

I had the damndest thing happen to me and a guildie two days ago, he handed me a featherwieght fwg5 that i had crafted for him and sliced it had dmg stats of 70-217 with 2.0 speed, after a "minor blemeshes" repair the weapon went back to normal full condition but the dmg dropped to 8-25 not exaclty "minor blemeshes" the devs responded with a generic "its somethign you did" to my csr ticket.

Jascentia -

Maybe you can clear up what matters when it comes to repair while you are at it.

I was under the impression that since there is no weapon repair skill in the WS tree, it had been widely assumed that they got no bonus to repair based on testing.

People are talking about having +15 weapons repair from SEA's, but I believe these are determined to be among the "bad beta loot" that was never removed from the game - like grenade experimentation - that no longer exist but the loot tables have never been fixed and are still dropping them.

Has something changed in the last few months that I'm unaware of? As far as I knew, the only thing that matters was the quality of the repair tool, and perhaps being near a highly-rated crafting station (though even that was in question).

There's a theory that repair is based on assembly but there's a lot of other possible explanations, and I don't think anyone's been able to doa real test on this because of the rarity and price of SEAs.

Wow, you like breaking other people's stuff and not feel bad about it?

Well, I will tell you something: Not all players have only their own welfare in mind. I regret that you are not such a player.

Also, I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but sometimes even after a good repair the damage on the weapon stays where it was (if it was below the point where it starts losing damage/speed.) Now I'm an armorsmith, My armor goes back to full normal stats if it is a successful repair, I'm confused as to why weapons work differently, and would LOVE to have this fixed, as I have an exceptional krayt scatter pistol that I dare not repair until it is fixed.

and just how many krayt tissues, acklay bones, Nym enhancers and gorax shards do you have laying around to sell these as fast as they break? Oh, I forgot, your a n00b who only makes starter level 10k weapons not the 1 million credit pricetag ones. Some people actually want to keep a weapon around they paid half a mil to a full mil for.
