Thread: Petition to stop CRAFTING NERF..>PLEASE SIGN AND KEEP ON TOP!
Yep, that's exactly what they are doing here--trying to convince us that it's for "our own good" or "the good of the game." Both ideas are BS. Toning down the absolute toughest 1% ofequipment in the game might be acceptable, but an outright nerf on the entire player community is NOT JUSTIFIABLE. Not by a long shot. Accept nothing less than a revocation of the craftingnerf--DO NOT let the devs snow you with some rose-colored double-talk.

Update: Crafting Experimentation Changes
I wanted to stopin and give you an update. The team understands the scope of the changes with crafting experimentation and how it is going to effect you guys. The team has discussed this at great length and as we "speak", we're putting together a long informational post to explain the bigger picture of whats happening.
Once we post that, we can discuss the changes in the thread, address your concerns and answer your questions. The current ETA is sometime tomorrow.
Guys, wake up. What this means is that he is simply planning a huge post of BS to justify this massive undertaking of nerfing. If he were revoking it, he wouldn't need a large post. He would simply say "we are not going to nerf." Don't let them get their hopes up and think they can steamroll over us just because they are going to make a huge post that they THINK will justify their actions. As it will not.
Btw, my 3 Valcyn accounts /sign

Can't wait to see this. I really do want to get the whole picture here.

OMG ... You mean there is a "Big Picture"???
OMG ... You mean the DEV's are not out to NERF everyone and everything??
OMG ... You mean the DEV's are not great big meanies that weild the nerf stick cause they woke up on the wrong side of the bed?
Can't wait for the post ... but let me sum it up:
Crafting is not working as intended, it's broke to point where patching is causing more problems, it's broke in a way that we can not buildfuture cool features into it ... it's needs a rewrite, it got a rewrite, and it will be easier to fix stuff in the future.
Any weapons that are to adversely affected will be tweaked in the combat balance phase (also armour, stims, etc, etc).
I think that sums up what the post will say ... but I will be very curious to read it ... I expect much more detail then my brief synopsis :-)
Thank you! That is exactly what we (at least I) want to see. I'll admit I'd rather have had it last week especially since the update is already in the process of going live. But now is better than never.

Hello TH,
it seems youagree the crafting experimentation is affecting us :good point.
But it is bad SOE is doing as usually. I understood you are puting this live even if no crafter at all wanted this change. It remembers me the 1% decay, prepare for the hurricane because it will come, trust me.
About the information, most of us don't have any hope in your future post on this topic.MayI ask why didn't you posted it sooner when it was still in test? This waywe would have understood the whole picture you are telling us you have...
Now you are telling us we could discuss the changes... Am I stupid or wasn't it the goal of TC? Welogged on TC tested it, rejected it. Nowyou put it live and tell us "we can discuss the changes". I feel some anger in the crafters hearts...
About the old crates of weapons (wich I don't have), we all understood the stats will be nerfed, tell me if I am wrong.
And as we are talking about the bigger picture, could we have some data about the naming colorisation, a real uncaped auction system, the uncaping of critical resources stats?
Really I can tell your post made me real sad, as the droid "invasion" notes did. ![]()
