There are more important things in this game that need Dev attention then CRAFTING! It is never a good idea to 'fix' something that was allready working right to begin with.

Might mention that as a whole resources REALLY ARE BAD on Tempest right now. Therein nest one of the problems people have with the changes. I talk to people on Bria and they have simply phenominal resources, especially compared to ours.

I have 2 accounts - 2 too many if you were to believe my partner. If crafting becomes even more of a pain than it currently is then he may be right. With all of the absolute CRAP metal we have to contend with, flexible experimentation is a small saving grace. And it's the only thing...the ONLY thing...that makes crafting halfway fun. Searching for resources is not fun. Waiting 3 months for that one rare resource you need to finally pop is not fun. Experimentation is pretty much it. Oh, and selling, which will of course cease shortly after the patch.
This is a very ill-advised decision.
