If he did them all manually it wouldn't be possible to mass-produce bugged ones, but if he knew how to reproduce it then it would be trivial to produce crates of bugged subcomponents to use in making bugged guns.

I hope the weaponsmitsh on the other servers, other than Bria don't have to deal with what's going on in Bria forum. The magnitude of the ignorance is amazing there.

Origin... i read all the drama on the Bria (dont ask why... i have no idea) .. but my head hurts.

you won't see them over here, they can't refute the facts of the other smiths on bria, you think they want to try the whole weaponsmith community.

another guy has come forward now on one of the threads and has stated he knows how the bug works specifically using the kryat tissues. I sent him a pm asking him to forward the info to taurin and also over to xahn and darkcipher so this can be dealt with.

Thanks for your support guys. Its toughbeing ethical, we've taken a lot of heat but we're not backing down.

Coming from a non smith on Bria I appreciate the effort as well. People there are so short sighted its pathetic, today guns tommrow armour where does it stop. Thanks for all the off server smiths who have spent their time looking into this.

Fiku and Vast do read these boards, in one the posts they mentioned link when I initially posted the "Dupe, caught" post. I doubt they will post here, on the basis that they know what they are doing is wrong.

hehe I just realized something too... how hard would it be for a dev to go the database do a "Find and delete" with all the serials of the weapons made.

THEN all the ones on Bria spouting off about those guns will be in a world of hurt.

They could, but touching a database is a messy business. I'm pretty sure they'll just let the items stay where they are, let it degrade since they dont' want to go through so much trouble.

Deleting items is not hard to do since there is email tracking person buying the items, it the time taking to clean out the database that is the pain.

You can have a lucky roll, but you're still capped by the maximum you can get out of your resources.

Even if you had 1000 weapon experimentation ability, if your resources were all 600 in the relevant stat, you won't get past 60% experimentation without exploiting.
