for most of my weapons, i just use:

or

a few weapons i rename (gaffi stick, dxr6b's to Acid Rain)

power hammers i almost always try to think up cool names. however i stink at being creative.

if i use base tissues, bones, shards etc, i just add the enhancement and then the actaul name of the gun, followed by: by Zina. so :: Acklay Stun Baton :: by Zina

if the weapon is truely unique i will take the time to name it something else. like maybe made with 80+ tissues, or 150+ bones.

well my current VK's are called---- VK "VIOLATOR" by OFIM

any extra special weapons get a unique name. I've named flamers "Wrath of God" DE-10's "Justice" a 441max 2h curved "Wolverine"

I try to be creative with it

Only thing is I cannot name my vendors *O* because of the asterisk

I prefix all my weapons with *O* so they still sort the same on the vendor, I find the brand name is all I really need, I really can't abide droid (or vendor) barking. I like what's on my vendor to go to my regular customers rather than people who only go and look because I spam, plus people tend to grow to dislike spammers. Besides, most of the spammers don't actually have what they shout about on the vendor when you get there, how many times have you seen someone spamming "Uber Loot", "Uber Weapons" etc etc.

All of my weapons are named with the following template.

Regular Weapons:

<Weapon Name> by Ornacra's Weaponry

Enhanced Weapons:

<Enhancement> <Weapon Name> by Ornacra's Weaponry

Exceptional Weapons:

<Exceptional> <Enhancement> <Weapon Name> by Ornacra's Weaponry

Ranged Weapons With a Stock:

<Weapon Name> by Ornacra's Weaponry S

Ranged Weapons with a Stock and Scope:

<Weapon Name> by Ornacra's Weaponry SS

Ranged Weapons With Geo Cubes:

<Weapon Name> by Ornacra's Weaponry W(for White Cube) R(for Red Cube) Y(for Yellow Cube) G(for Green Cube)

Ranged Weapons With Stock and Geo Cubes:

<Weapon Name> by Ornacra's Weaponry Y-S ( Y is replaceable by whatever geo cube color used )

Ranged Weapons with Stock and Scope and Geo Cubes:

<Weapon Name> by Ornacra's Weaponry Y-SS

Thats the template I use and it works fairly well for me, at times I replace the "by" with a - (dash symbol) if I don't have room to put the word "by" in.

Since my company name is so long (Lethally Dark Industries) I usually do mine as such:

LDI. Laser Carbine *SLiced* (I always capitalize the S and L in sliced it is my signature)

then for enhancement like Krayt I do

I also add any scopes or stocks at the end like this...

Persoanlly I'm debating what to pick. Here's a few idea's I had

[V-V] Vibroknuckler [49-147] [2.2]

[V-V] Vibroknuckler {47-147} {2.2}

Weapon Name by Geef [speed|damage] and Weapon Name [Geef Loot Edition]

Examples:

Vibro knuckleby Geef [2.2|48-147] and Power Hammer [Geef Acklay Edition]

When making custom jobs I let the customer decide.
