Normal weapons:
example: Vibro Knuckler VK148 by Ravage Arms
The model number is the initials plus the max damage.
Enhanced weapons:
example: |RAVAGER| Vibro Knuckler <hpvm> by Ravage Arms
Tagged, then the <hpvm> is the type of enhancement used (high powered vibro motor)

Everything I make I cnp "by Wraith Squadron Weaponry" onto the end...
I tend to make the higher end stuff names unique, with a fantasy/sci-fi-ish name.
My FT's I make special each time, and call them Burning Helix Flamethrower by Wraith Squadron Weaponry
(C) and (tm) Wraith Squadron Enterprises 2005

My weapons are usually named as such:
Rok VK, Rok PH, Rok SB, etc.
If it has something special in it then it would be as such:
Rok Acklay SB, Rok Geo GB, etc.
When I make a large factory crate of something I will add the title "Series #" at the end. And I just keep up with the number of series I've made.

As a rule I leave stats out of the title also. Sounds horrible. not as romantic. I am all about the tone and mood a name sets. Hence Lethally Dark Industries v. Weapons by Celehorn. Nothing against those of you taht do do tht. just isnt for me.

My alt is a 12-point WS on Kettemoor. Her business is called Imperial Arms. Since we mostly supply weapons to the Empire, they are named accordingly. For instance the E11 carbine is the Imperial Arms E-11 Assault Carbine. The Power Hammer is the Imperial Arms "Thumper", and the Scatter pistol is the Imperial Arms "Law Giver".

i make it easy. i hate when the craters put thier name first instead of the normal name. makes it harder to look at on a huge stock of stuff on a vendor..
for me a vibroknuckler would be named
Vibroknuckler by Bezerker INC and if it is a factory run i also add the stats in (Ie Vibroknuckler by Bezerker INC (2.2 38-148)

Probably the most notable name I've given to a weapon is 'Last Stand' FWG5 which are pre-patch.
I have been taking to give my T21s and Bowcasters names as well.

I use a fairly complex system on mine.
Loronar Prototype/Production Model DD.MM.* <standard name>
* Day.Montha#(how many advanced components?).s#(stocked? scoped? both?).l(used looted parts?).g(used geo stuff?)
Example:
Loronar Prototype 06.02a2 Scout Blaster = Hand produced Scout blaster with an advanced barrel and PH made on the 6th of February
Loronar Production Model 06.02a3.s2.l Laser Carbine = Factory produced weaponLaser Carb made with 3 advanced parts, both stock and scope added and one looted part. probably the stock or the scope,I hand make almost all my stocks and scopes so i can see them easily so not many things have a Production Model designation.
Why this complex system? I have a lot of repeat customers and they like the look of a gun, its their trademark so to speak andI can tell what I did last time to make it. This also lets me know when to move out old stock that shouldn't be on my vendor but can be put on the bazaar or passed out to starting players since not all my stock sells real well.

(enhancement:krayt/gorax/heavy(stock)). iusually dont put scoped or yellow cube orwhatever) (weapon) - Smithed by Ritha
If the customer insists on a full list of enhancements it could be like
Dennis' Krayt enhanced, yellow cubed, scope and stocked, DXR-6b Tenloss Disruptor Rifle - Smithed by Ritha
