Man.. this profession can be a killer sometimes. I've been a MWS since acouple weeks afterlaunch.
Two days ago, I was in my tent stocking my vendor with a bunch of newly sliced weapons when someone decided that it was prudent to "/yell This is theMOST outrageously priced shop I've ever seen yet" right ouside my tent when I was in it.
At first I was thinking to myself... How the heck can I be the most outrageouly priced shop when I have a hard time maintaining a stock? Yeah what about that 35 mil I paid for the MWS outfit that gives me +24 to experimentation and assembly? What about all that time I spent harvesting all these resources that I need for craftinghigh end weapons? While my blood was boiling, remembered that the simplest response is the shortest and nicest answer.
I told him "Thank you" and then I proceeded to /setpermission ban him from all merchant tents that I control.
Shortly after that he goes on a rant... "Why did you go an ban me now?" "I'm going to tell everyone and his brother not to shop here"
after the 10th rant.. it was /addignore dumbass
Moral of the story: If you are going to insult the weaponsmith by /yelling something stupid, be prepared to be banned from the shop.

well the worst one i have had was the other day. i had a customer having a go at me sayin
Customer; "your weapons are crap because they are REALY slow."
Me ; "which weapon do u find realy slow? as i make all of my weapons with the servers BESTspawns for all weapons."
Customer;"your T21 7.4speed what the hell am i meant to do with that?????"
Me; "well i can drop the advanced blaster rifle barrel and use just a standard one to drop the speed by .1 if you would like how ever you would loose a few points of damage"
Customer; "Still crap i want a T21 with 5.0 speed or lower"
Me; "LOL"....."Sliced? Krayt?"
Customer; "no i dont have that much money....look can u make me one or not?"
Me; "....../slap"
and the conversation goes on about how u cant get that speed T21 or why would a master rifleman need that speed when damage is much more usefull. I felt likebuying the weapon myself and beat them to death with it!

haha, this whole thread is making me want to stick up my weaponsmith title just to use some of the responses here. Its great... just wish it was fiction.

The person asks how much a Laser Rifle will cost, as they're a little low on cash. I respond that I will make them one for a fairly modest sum, to which they respond, "That's still too much. Can you do anything about my Tusken Rifle?" At this point, I trade to examine their Tusken, as I might be able to give them a set of powerups to help out. Gads, it's a miserable piece, 7.5 speed, about 100 condition left, and very low damage potential. My CDEF rifles are almost better than this thing.
I offer to make them a new Tusken, to which they agree. I trot over to the crafting building and proceed to start building the subcomponents (yes, I was carrying around a stack of resources, as I was going to start some FWG5 and Rifle schematics.) They then ask, "How much do you want for this?"
I respond, "Whatever you think this is worth." Cue distant thunder...
I finish the final combine, and it's a nice little weapon. I don't remember the exact stats, but it was FAR superior to what they had before. I was pretty proud of it. My first Tusken Rifle! I open a trade window with my customer, and he puts in 1000 credits into the trade window, along with the old Tusken. Oh well. It was fun making the gun, anyway. Plus, maybe I'll get a referral... *Lightning flashes across the sky...*
I tell them, "That's a pretty good weapon. It would fetch quite a bit on my vendor, so take care of it!"
They respond, "Yeah, I might just put this on my other character's vendor! He's an artisan, and has LOTS of customers! Thanks!" and trots off with his new rifle.

There was this one custumer, back when the autoretrieve was first implemented and would get bugged and the item would disappear. The customer bought a flamethrower from me and didn't get his weapon. I didn't know of this bug at the time and said that it must be a bug if its not in inventory and not on vendor either. Then he proceeds to say that I stole his money and that I should reimburse him blah blah blah. After arguing about what happened, he goes on to tell me that he'll tell his friends not to buy from me and to post on the forums about how he stole my money and everything. So thenI say something like"Ok. Infact,tell a csr exactly what happened and how I 'stole' your credits. And also, if you keep harassing me about a bug I have no responsibility about, I'll take a screenshot on everything we've both said and post a link to the screenshot on the forums to show everyone what a moron you are." Least to say, he didnt reply after that

Guess what gets me the most is the word 'uber' used in a request and the "You don't have this on your vendor" (Which I have to explain the 'Next Item' button)
I'm still amazed at times at the number of Elite Profession toons that know nothing of the Next Item option.

Ok, so i had the worst week... My power goes out sunday night... so i gotta re-do back up files and **edit**, ends up that monday, tuesday, and half of wednesday are shot... i get on wed. afternoon, and get like 2783092830498230948203984 e-mails... i got an e-mail from some big jerk...

omg, i was about to throw my monitor out the freaking window, its like yeah, ofcource, i keep several piles of 11 really good "UBER" krayt tissues just up my ass for people like you... ohh and btw, you know how hard it is to find that one recource(the gem recource) for the T21s and not to mention the schematic and the recources for the DXR-6B...
However, i smile wide when people say, "Can you repair my weapon"... cuz unknown to that n00b is that us WSs dont have mods for weapon repair, we are as good as you are, so i charge 5k, they think they win, when i just made like 10000000% profit off of what that repair tool cost me... come back for more repairs in the future, please! lol

This happened last week so I don't remember the exact words but I had a convo go something like this:
I fly into Cnet on my way to my shop to load up some new weapons. I get a tell from a guy, we will call him jerk:
Jerk: can u make me a tusken rifle?
Me: Sure. I am on my way to my shop to put some new ones on the vendor. I think there might even be a few already sliced ones still up.
Jerk: What are the stats?
Me: (normally I wouldn't give out stats but since I was carrying them with me I figured why not) 6.2 sp 221 max dmg.
Jerk: Those suck. They are to slow
Me: What do you expect? Its a tusken rifle.
Jerk: I will take one.
Me: (already at my shop) Okay I will send you my shop wp
(Send email to jerk)
Jerk: *Other Weaponsmith* makes better weapons and is real cheap
MeL (at this pt I am confused since he has not reached my shop yet and only knows one set of stats) Thats nice
Jerk: *other weaponsmith*'s shop is on Naboo but his weapons are real cheap
Me: (catching on) You do not even know my prices yet (for reference my Tuskens are 4k)
Jerk: His weapons are better
Me: Considering you have not seen the stats on any of my other weapons and have gotten no price quotes what exactly is it you are trying to accomplish?
Jerk: (this is the reply I really can't remember, it was not a complete sentence, not even a complete thought, in no way answered my question and had something to do with the other guys weapons being less then 500k)
Me: ?
Jerk: I just answered you.
Me: No you said (quote him) How does that answer my question about what you are trying to accomplish by telling my weapons, which you have not seen or no how much they cost, suck?
Jerk: (No response)

I've had some pretty wierd ones over time, but one that stood out was:
Player..."Im looking for an Uber VK"
Me..."nice damage sliced or an enhanced one?"
Player..."One over 200 max damage"
Me..."Ok, well you probably need a Nym or NS Motor to get that"
Player...."You got any already?"
Me...."no m8, probably better and cheaper to loot them yourself and bring them to me to make"

Player...."Ok, forget that then, how good can you make composite?"
