Thread: Super easy and super uber grinding macro
If it throws a wobbly the first few crafts it's because it is loading the schematic for the first time and downloading the details which takes longer than the 4 second timer. Just don't add resourses for the first 2-3 crafts until it settles in. Close the little error boxes and the open crafting tools until you get the crafting kits opening with enough time to add the resourses.
If you find the timer is getting too short to add resourses but was good previously just /quit out and look up a webiste or leave it for a few mins then log back in. Your memory will be cleared and the crafting tools will open faster.
You will get crafting session ends twice every time the macro kicks over. As long as the timer on the crafting tool is coming up you are getting XP. (9secs for Projectile Rifle Barrels)
Commands not working - 90% of the time is the punctuation with a capital being used (/selectDraftschematic not /selectDraftSchematic) or spaces in the wrong spot (/ui action tooldbarSlot01 not /ui action toolbarSlot 01)
Any ideas on what is causing this? I can not use /nextcraftingstage or /next. When I use either of these, even from the command line not using a macro nothing happens. then if I do it the manual way it will tell me the resouce requirement have not been met.
For now I am having to use a macro that uses 4 crafting tools. It boots up the tool and selects the schematic then I have to click the resource that the mouse is hovering over and press the enter key 3 times before the 15 sec timer loads up the next tool. its better than nothing but still a bit of a pain to have to keep one hand on the mouse and one on the enter key all the time

all of these macros require that you manually select the materials to put in the schematic. These are all in game macros, and SOE did not include a way to automatically put in the resources.
I have to say just one thing about this macro
I FEAR MASTER WS NO LONGER
haha i have to say right affter i got the few mistakes out of the way i was making 2 times what i could make at my best and have already saved at least 1k in minarls from having no critcal failurs. this was just what i was looking for and am so glad i found it so fast
i was going to just go to bed but i made myself get this started tonight before i never see it again and hurt myself lol. now i have already goton a skill in even less then half the time it normaly takes at my best. hehe just had a lag spike so it got all mest up but now i dont care cuz im already ahed. Just had to post here and tell you how much i liked this macro and wish i could make you my first master WS weapon to show you how great you are ![]()

You can't use
/nextcraftingstage
Try this: (note the capitals)
/nextCraftingStage
Captialization matters, as does adding the semicolon at the end of each line (except the last). Also, make sure the spacing and capitalization are correct for this line, I had to work this one out, too:
/createPrototype practice no item
Best of luck

Sorta... It's lookin like they broke /nextcraftingstage altogether. No caps, no /next - no nada. Its nerfed.
I typed in the macro and got all the erors out but for some reason when i hit f1 for the macro to start nothing happens. And all it says is crafting sesion has ended.ANY plz help me iam getting pissed lol.

I ama Master Doctor and used a similar scrpit with 5 tools to grind my last box of Medical crafting, it was fantastic. I made ABECs for that, they took 30 seconds each and therefore with a /pause 5 for resource loading and a /pause 1 at the end of each craft session, I could keep all 5 running at once.
I will be grinding WS as soon as I have enough out of my harvesters, buffing for dollars in the meantime.
A few tips:
1) I also saw the "crafting session ended" flag and wondered what was going on. Luckily, my onscreen skill boxes were active and I could drag the cursor over the box and see how many points I had. Evidently when grinding, the message people are asking about is the end of the session and you WILL get crafting XP.
2) Make sure your semicolons are present at the end of each line, except for the end. Evidently, spelling, punctuation and capitalization count for some reason
You will fail if these things are not correct.
3) If you have a double-button bar, put your tools in the TOP of the bar to activate them with the macro. Only the first box on the top row is activated by /uiaction toolbarSlot 00, the bottom row is something else. Rather than figure out what it is, I put all my tools in the top row and it worked like a charm.
4) You can endlessly loop the macro by putting your macro icon into the toolbar and calling it with another /ui action toolbarSlot XX command, in my case the macro was at F6, so the command was /ui action toolbarSlot 05
5) To stop the macro type /dump in the command line. You have to do this in the 4-5 seconds allotted to specify materials, often I would just get in the /du and have to add the mp <return> on the next pass.
6) I seem to remember getting a few fails, I don't specifically remember what I did, I either tried to double-click again or /dump -ed the macro and restarted. I know the /dump will work, the other I am not sure about.
Staburaz, I think your capitalization is off on the /nextCraftingStage line, look elsewhere (other crafting boards) to find the right capitalization.
The macro works for me......thx poster!!
To stop the macros i just move the icons out of the toolbar slot at the top and it runs out, that why i use 2 macros, so it doesnt keep repeating all the time.
I did initially run this a few eeks ago and it was much quicker, the server seems to lag sooo much now, so the pauses have to be longer, but it is grinding me xp, not as much as i would like but it does work!
Have a heavily bandaged finger though, it is hard work on the double clicking, the software download from microsoft helped a bit, but it is a hard slog for the xp!!
Oh to be a Master Weaponsmith!
