Thread: Questions you NEVER ask a weaponsmith...
"How many uses does your rocket launchers have?"
I really though about it for a minute before I scared him off with my answer.

That is funny, thought a valid question in these days of hologrinding. I had to talk to several chefs before I found one who was not a holo-grinder when this last big update occurred.
My guess is that he was asking you if your were in WSing for the long-haul or just a holo-grinder.

Excellent... I needed this thread...
Of course don't forget this typical encounter:
Customer: Hey
Me: (Why do they always start with "Hey"?)
I hate this.
I am damn near the point of putting anyone who sends me a tell with just "hey" on my ignore list. I don't have the time, the patience, or the inclination to cajole you into asking your question. Just ask it and get it over with. Faster for both of us.
God how I wish more people realized this.

Often people just use 'hey' as a replacement for 'ping' to find out if you'reavailable(vs. AFK or LD, etc.).
You might recommend to people that they try a different route.
Instead of
/tell jimmygunrunner hey (are you there?)
they should do
/addfriend jimmygunrunner
/removefriend jimmygunrunner
I'm slowly beginning to realize this. Is it too much to ask for SOE to make it easier for people to determine if I'm online?
Either way, most of the people who start off by /telling me 'hey' are random people I've never met, don't know from Adam, and want me to bend over backwards to do the most miniscule of jobs for them. This is not always the case, but it is usually.
Anyone ever sit down inside their weaponcrafting station to "hide"?
This thread is great.
Not a question I get asked, but if I get one more Kliknick Gland offered on my vendor I am going to freak out.
