Alright Abe,
Let me give you a piece of advice to keep your life going smooth...NEVER GO INTO A BREAK ROOM EVER! Everyone vents about those things that the people they deal with put them through. I've had the joy of dealing with people in multiple professions, and trust me I've heard similar rants from every profession in the real world. Professors-think some of their students are morons. Doctors-Are amazed people live as long as they do. DJ's don't want to get that song on for you and your girl friend. Even Ministers, yes Ministers, have their time to get together and rant about what is driving them crazy with their parishoners. Everyone has to rant, it helps us to gather ourselves back together and head back into the world to do our parts in it. If you don't have a sense of huumor about things you simply can not function. And lets face it this topic is VERY inside humor for the Weaponsmith folk, granted all the crafters have variations on what we hear.
I put my helper tag up and help people from time to time. I've given new folk used weapons for free, recommended other merchants for other needs, sometimes other WS if they have more of the stock that they would want. I've taken new players on hunts, intrroduced them to other players I know that they can huunt with. Even taken them places like Tuskan, cause they really wanted to see some actiuon, and I really wanted out of my crafting shop.
I have said what I've said here because I'm bonding with my fellow Weaponsmithers, not because I hate people, but because I love my job. Ranting is a part about EVERY job, go to a tech support horror story website, now there's some angst!! And I hate to break this to you but someone out there in the real world is ranting about you, and someone is ranting about me, and I know someone is ranting about that guy down the hall who makes that funny sound when he coughs. So LET US RANT! It's better than an in office fire arm incident!
Seeing a master weaponsmith "go postal" would be much more fun if we could make nukes. We could just stroll into the square in Coronet, push the button, and have a big party in the cloning center afterwards...

Heres a few suggestions:
1) Make ur char not searchable
2) Change ur prof tag
3) AFK tag saying im crafting pls dont disturb
These should ward off most of us other players who wish to pay u for a little service.
And to respond to the questions about whether u can make a better rifle than is on vendors, i truly do not expect all ws to have their vendors stocked with crazy kraytt rifles . They might even save some kraytt tissuecoz making a kraytt jawa ion could be kinda stupid if u sell 1 kraytt rifle a week and the next was a laser. Im master architect and i dont have my vendor stocked with City halls or 100s of be 13 harvs....

I had another interesting customer last night. He asked for my wp and i sent the usual email listing my city, planet, wp and a line that says 'We have a shuttle'
A few minutes later I get a tell saying I can't find your town and I'm at the starport. I asked if he was on the right planet. He said no, but I had said we had a shuttle so he thought we had a starport 'like his city did'.
Sure wish I could move to that city LOL
So I'm talking to a prospective buyer in tells and it runs something similar to this.
customer: so what else do you do?
(i'm in the middle of 3 tells about jobs atm)
me: i'm sorry I don't follow you.
customer: I mean, do you go out and kill stuff?
me: no, I'm just a master weaponsmith
customer: WHAT?? what about all the other skill points, do you have free skill points?
(this goes on for a while until I finally say)
me: Actually I'm a master artisan and master architect as well
customer: oh, well could you make me a speeder and a house too?
me: . . .
customer: where do you find the best place is to get commando experience?
me: . . .
I just don't know about some people hehe.
God, this is almost as funny as the Smuggler thread!
I must admit, I've asked a few stupid questions while talking to my favorite MWS. Ackeeba, I'm sorry for asking about the speed/damage thing with my last order.
