Well for starters I guess you could do the melee speed line in FS.

I'd probably put the rest of the points also into FS, say 4403 Enh Reflexes (IMO terrain negotiation is very usefull for a tank and combine with some BE clothing you get a decent level). I couldn't see anywhere else to get some extra speed or damage so figure it's best to go defence etc. instead.

i need some template advice for PVP...


1. i am considering TKM/MasterPikes/Doc4000


or...


2. TKM/MasterPikes/MasterBrawler/Fencer0004/swordsman0004


with 1 i will have: (with polearm equiped)


210 accuracy


240 melee defense


190 ranged defense


with 2 i will have: (with polearm equiped)


335 accuracy


255 melee defense


200 ranged defense



my biggest question is it better to have the ability to heal incoming damage with the doc4000 or will the higher accuracy make up for it.


and is there much a difference between 255melee defense and something over 300 if cob is running?

i remember someone saying somewhere that the higher it gets the less it helps.

Hi, i'm looking for some advice as what to do with a spare 67 points. I'm currently Master TK and Master Artisan. I really like having some crafting skill, and I don't want to drop that, so that leaves me with 67 points to boost my combat with.

I could get doctor 4000 with that, which someone mentioned as being helpful. Would that be a good use of the points? Or would I be better spending it on some more offensive skill, rather than defence. And if so, what would people recommend?

Not sure, but right now I am thinking of respecing to TKM, MBrawler, 4xx4 Doc, and xx34 Swordsman. My only reservation is that I am not sure if that will make me CL80 or not.

TKM / Master Smuggler / Pistols 44xx


It's not the greatest damage dealing profession, but I love smuggler and tkm. Especially the innate armor.


TKM / Master Swordsman / Master Brawler / Fencer xxx4 / Pikes x4xx


This template is freaking amazing, the amount of general speed and accuracy is huge which equates to great damage.

Bikebum I hit upon that exact template and was trying to decide if the MBrawler attributes were worth losing some sword specials.


Anyone have input on this choice:


TKM, Doc 4004, MBrawler, Sword 0034


vs


TKM, Doc 4004, Sword 1444


Are the extra abilities (speed, defense, accuracy) in MBrawler worth the loss of Sword specials?


All that I have read about Sword talks about Master Sword with a PH but I think with Katern Knucklers or a Scyth the damage will be close....and the Doc abilities will hopefully make up for it?


Thoughts???

Need some advice for my TKM / Master Pikeman (Halcyon) on Bloodfin. Still messing about trying to find what to use my extra SP on. Have narrowed it down to 3 options but really can't decide.


1) Swords 0 0 3 4 / Fencer 0 0 0 4 (Acc 320 - Spd 110 - Mel Def 285 - Rng Def 225)

Specials - Adv Armor break - Imp Critical Strike - Adv Bleed Attack - Imp Blinding Strike


2) Master Brawler / Swords 4 0 3 4 (Acc 295 - Spd 125 - Mel Def 285 - Rng Def 210)

Specials - Imp Power Attack - Adv Armor Break - Imp Critical Strike


3) Fencer 0 4 0 3 / Swords 0 0 3 0 (Acc 250 - Spd 110 - Mel Def 285 - Rng Def 225)

Specials - Imp Cripple Attack - Adv Bleed Attack - Adv Armor Break


Option 1 has 320 Accuracy which should easily take it over most range templates defence for the extra damage and the DOT attack.


Option 2 has got the higher damaging swordsman specials but I am not sure how these rate.


Option 3 got the cripple in there to maybe keep the kiters in check? Also the DOT.


Have got the 'ADV Armor break' in there for all three, even though am aware there may be issues with this at present.


If anyone has used any of these, please let me know what you think. I do not want any medic in this template asI have a toon on Starsider (Slikz) who will be TKM / MD / Swords 0 0 3 1 very soon. Have already tried halcyon against a nearly full temp Jedi and it finished up, us both winning two duels each (without heals cos I had no stims!). With Halcyon I will be relying on Stim Ds and that food which lets you heal every 30 secs instead of every minute.
