Here's my list so far:
- Innate armor is useless, and TKA isn't certified for other forms of armor. I'm a TKM (level 56) and Meatlumps (level 1) can hit me. Everything does damage, without exception. I can't disable innate armor, so I don't know how much damage is mitigated (and the combat messages don't tell me, either).
Now that I'm master TKA/master Swordsman (and can therefore wear battle armor), I've been able to test innate armor by comparing it against battle armor. Innate armor does work, but I wish it worked better. However, as has been stated by so many other folks, it's quite useful when combined with a PSG and proper use of CoB. It would be nice if we knew just how much damage was mitigated - we used to get combat messages when wearingarmor that stated something to the effect of "<piece of armor> absorbed <points> of damage" - something along the same lines would help us appreciate innate armor a bit more.
- Force of Will is useless. I've been incapped 4 times today - in all four instances, I was killed immediately after being incapped, rendering /forceofwill a useless skill.
Not only useless, but broken. In every (and I mean EVERY) attempt to date, I have failed to regain consciousness by using Force of Will.
- I missed more often than the Meatlumps I attacked.
Still true, but as I've observed tough critters missing me, I guess it balances out. I just wish that creatures 70 levels below me were a bit less...facile.
- I do 33-50% more damage unarmed than I do with my previously good vibroknucklers equipped, even though the "estimated DPS" figure for them indicates that I should be able to do the reverse.
Still true, still broken. These days, I use a power hammer and fall back on TKA only on low-level critters for which using such a weapon would be overkill.
- Even /meleeHit at TKM takes 2+ seconds to go through cooldown, yet I was hit up to once per second by everything I attacked, even Meatlumps.
Still true. Critters don't have cooldown - apparently, including NPCs.
- /meditate does not appear to appreciably accelerate Health regeneration.
There is some improvement, but I can't tell any difference between /sit and /meditate.
- Missions are useless. If I take a mission that matches my difficulty level, even with what now passes for buffs, I'm dead.
This directly related to my ability - in other words, I was clueless. Once I adjusted my tactics, I can deal with them appropriately.
- Leveling is useless. If the creature you fight is five levels or more lower than you are, you get 1 XP. I'm level 56, so level 51 or less means 1 XP. However, a single level 56 Hidden Daggers extremist can kill me - it always hit, it was faster than I was, and my innate armor was useless at a distance, so I suffered 40% of my Health in damage before I could close to melee range. The only way you're going to solo anything is if you're a TKM/Doctor, apparently.
Still somewhat true. It took the melee and ranged defense bonuses of another class stacked onto TKM to make it possible for me to close with an equal foe, and combined with food, drink, and /powerboost, I can indeed solo a mission at my level provided they don't gang up on me in numbers larger than two.
- Knockdown and dizzy attacks are useless. Using lunge, even the advanced leg sweep attack, is useless - you have time to execute one, possibly even two, attacks after recovering from the lunge before the creature stands back up.
Still painfully true. KD and dizzy are far less useful now than Armor Break.
IfTKA issupposed to be the "tank" class, we're all in big trouble.

TKA is by no means a "tank" class yet.
Ok, new note. No bullet, as I'm reporting 1....
Advanced Combo Attack incorrectly reports in detailed spam what is happening. Log file:
[Combat] Ky'an attacks Afa Eubefe (a SpecForce interrogator) with Improved Combo Attack using Nym's Krayt Blaster Fist and hits for 138 points (138 points of energy damage). Afa Eubefe (a SpecForce interrogator)'s armor absorbed 315 points out of 734 possible points of damage.
THE PROBLEM IS LAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
FOW doesnt work cause of LAGGGGGGG
COB doenst work cause of LAGGGGGGGG
nothing works cause of LAGGGGG
ppl hit a button, watch the warmup and then move on but the effect doesnt happen, why? cause of LAGGG
I have to constantly repeat the CoB or anything that has a warmup. If you move a few seconds after, it fails, why, LAGGGGGGGGGGG
there are fewer ppl playing but we have more, you guessed it, LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A few things to note; my apologize if they have been mentioned.
1)I have no problem when ITARGET any enemy when using CoB and stand still, although it still often takes more than one CoB to have it stick during battle.
2) Innate armor appears to be working fine, but against some MoBs initiating CoB has no further affect; i.e. the spiders (webweavers?) on the 3rd level of the Ryatt trail will do 30 damage to me with OR without CoB.
3) When power boost takes more than a couple tries to 'stick' I have noticed that the previous quickslot command you have used turns black and makes a noise sounding like there is nothing in the slot (or that it failed); the power boost works fine when this does not happen.

EDIT: oops, hit submit by accident.Anyway, meditate has worked fine for me, i can still meditate while standing, just have to be on a fairly flat surface as people have said. I haven't had any problems with powerboost, i get 5 or 600 health when i use it.As for innate armor and the inability to tank anything, this i really haven't seen. I can take on two level 77 Nightsister rangers on at the same time by myself and kill them both. I've been taking level 78-80 missions and completing them just fine, even with 3 or 4creatures hitting me at a time(cept for rancor missions at least).Message Edited by Vander_Legion on 04-29-2005 01:13 PM
Ditto, I regularly outtank a friend wearing decent armour (MBH/MPistoleer - yes I know not a tank class but if innate armour wasn't working it shouldn't matter), my impression is Innate armour is working. (I'm TKM/MDoc/bit of pike to get the area attacks) and I have no problem tanking even a couple of greens.
Actually . If you read what it says when you use FOW .. you actually do sometimes complete FOW and are recapitated with good stats.. BUT it lies... instead it makes your incap 30 seconds longer...
PLEASE FIX FOW.... <biggest thing I have a problem with... and the fact that powerfists, vibroknuckles, and all other TK weapons are useless.
Still getting pretty much the same results as you folks: (Im lvl 80 m/TK m/smuggler with pikey (brawler)4 and nov medic, with healing eff. BE clothes.
I tend to use a wee macro with /attack /pause 1 /attack etc. as that barely has an effect on HAM depletion, and try CoB still, although as mentioned earlier it doesn't always work, even when lit up under my HAM, as does innate armour. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
My BE clothing helps me heal, bacta shot, most times for 490 per heal cycle, but if targetted on an enemuy, its like a 1 in 4 sucess rate. Besides they tend to regen faster than I can even with this and I tend to find myself using /feignDeath /pause 1 /stand (no falling over then) and leg it a few metres.
Not tried battle armour yet (will get that at nov pikey) - clone armour, sliced by moi - he heh.
(Sorry if I've missed any comments similar to this beforehand too).
Oh, and I still find creatures harder than stormies with guns. Can take a batallion of 7 or so stormies easy, but 2 quenkers no way easily.
