I believe the essence of being a ranged fighter is fighting at a distance. Therefore, fighting at melee range means they are less effective. Unless you are pistoleer, in which case you are half way between that.

I think that atone guy needs to realize this is a game that from day one has had imbalances. Face it man...all the crying in the world with you twisted logic is gonna change how the game works. Live with it.

ok...../rudeness on.........and goddamn dude, you have to be one of the most thick skulled people i have ever heard. "having a gun is cowardly" KD/dizzy is pretty cowardly . Yes it is a tactic, but still a tactic that blocks some one from punchisizing your face and you not getting hurt. Someone else posted that the arguement for both sides is the same thing. And it is. ok.......... o am goin to bed now.

Does anyone see a similarity? Ranged want KD/Dizzy taken out which essentially gives TKA's the same advantage over ranged as kiting gives ranged over melee.

I have an answer that will solve this whole debate over kiting being cheap. If you feel so strongly about this, then why not augment your combat options with a ranged profession? Take up Rifleman so that when you cannot catch somebody who is running away from you, bring out your "big guns" and shoot back.

If you read the instruction booklet that came with the game, it tells you that ranged professions have an advantage over the melee professions. But only until a melee attacker gets close to you. So if you are unable to close the distance with a ranged attacker, then take out a ranged weapon yourself.

But who ever said that if we stop fighting over the issue, we would probably blend in, is right. So if we follow the old saying : "Hear no Evil, See no Evil, Speak no Evil" we would probably be left to our "ass kicking" selves.

TKM's can already be owned by master fencers because of their high defenses. Now if they doany KD/dizzy nerfing, TK's will suck inmelee action. Who knows what will happen vs. a ranged fighter.

I have no marksman skills. I am a pure brawler and TKM. There are effective ways to counter kiting and fight on your own terms. Requiring your opponents to fight on your terms makes you a "coward" and even worse, a whiner. You make me want to be a rifleman.
