Yeah this guy would really whine if he fought me I am both mtka and almost master pistoleer with the smuggler specials lol. I can heal myself too nerffff me.

Ok I will also add to this thread that today I was hunting on Dathomir with guess what , a TKM. Yes he was buffed but the amount of dmg he did with his fists is absolutely rediculous. I am firing at the god **edit** rancor with a t21 rifle that has HEAVY armor piercing and yet the TKM still did over 4 times the amount of dmgI did to the rancor with his FISTS no vibros... not to mention he was actually TANKING the rancor while I got killed in 3 hits by one when I got agroed a little later.


For all those saying that I was stupid to lay prone before the TKA of the original subject plz ready again. I was not prone at all when he KD ed me , I was running my ass off and he killed me from like 10 meters behind me.


TKMs should not do even a quarter of the amount of dmg I can do with a rifle, I mean its a freaking gun! WITH HEAVY ARMOR PIERCING YET EVERY STUPID KEWLDOODS IN THIS GAME CAN OUTDAMAGE IT WITH THEIR FISTS!!!!


go in iraq and tell me if you see the big dudes running straight to the guys aiming at them with rifles... now the riflemen would be pretty stupid not to run away from them right?

umm okay, lets take a look at this a second........

yep, I'm pretty sure that this IS a game.


Guess what, he does 3 times the damage of you, (which I highly doubt, because tkms only do about 2.5k damage maybe) but he is taking all the hits from a rancor and you are 64m out with your T21. Also I have a super great idea! How about you use flurry shot from 64m out and then use supression shot from 64m out, and guess what! The "uber" TKM is on his back, dizzy!! Woohoo!!


By the way, wasn't your guildmate a master fencer? Guess what!?!? he could use CoB and it would have taken the tkm 8 hits IF he was lucky, because fencer's CoB is awesome right now..


Just because one dude is being a punk who happens to be a tka, doesn't mean that we all do that. I haven't seen a productive post on here from you yet. You should try it...


As many have said and I'm sure you've heard it before, it's not TKA that's "uber," it's just one of the few working professions, and the others just need to be brought up to speed.

First of all, most rancors have hight Kinetic resist... you were watching the combat spam in your chat window which is *NOT* the actual damage dealt, a TK hitting a rancor does way less than is shown thanks to resists. You were using a T21 with heavy AP, this is also not shown in the combat spam so you were doing more damage than you think.


So your "freaking gun WITH HEAVY ARMOR PIERCING" *was* outdamaging the TK with their fists.

/sigh so uneducated...


rancor- light armor, 30% kin. so even with our heaviest hit w/o the rancor on his back will do560 damage w/o vks. kd'd i'd be doing about 1015.


energy is 30% resists. and light armor. i'd hit for around800-900 or so w/ a power up on my t21. realize this is with hs2 dmg would be greater w/ strafe 2.and realizeif we don't count specials the the tka will be hitting for around 60pts. this also doesn't include the armor peircing which ads 25% for each level of ap above the mob.


now if the rancor was on his back, your attack will have the dmg mod also.


so where is the logic/math to back you up?


why don't you list you're skills before you continue to lay the bull crap? as a novice rifleman 2/0/1/2 i can take out mobs just as easy as my tka and not get hit. tactics have to be different though.

ok, 2 instances from within 20 minutes of each other...


instance 1: I'm strolling along, fully buffed, with my full composite armor on, when a red dot appears on my map. a TKM it says(buffed, but only sporting an ubese helmet). i approach, pop some muon, and he comes out from behind the building (about 60 meters away) and starts burst running. i follow suit and procede to kite him (ps i dont think we should have to kite people, i have been called a coward for doing it.) i get off a mindshot2 and 3 headshot3's before i am "forced to go prone."



_Name_ does charging wampa on you for383 damage (you feel dizzy, you fall down)

_Name_ doesSpitting Rawl on you for 613 damage

_Name_ does Spitting Rawl on you for 600 damage

instance 2: I'm in coronet, unbuffed, i see a red dot. it's a novice sharpshooter. he thinks he's big and tough, approaches through the starport door... a battle follows, in which i (a master sharpshooter, am victorious). a blue dot approaches as i make my way to the shuttle (which just arrived)...

Also, sometimes there is a bug where if you see him at 23m, he may see you at 6m. This can easily pull off a lunge, (and from what u wrote it looks like unarmedlunge2, which is a master brawler move) and he got lucky and it kd'd u and before you could get up he dizzyd and attacked you. Also, just because tka is a good pvp profession doesnt mean it needs to be nerfed. Fencer can CoB and barely gets hit (there was an instance when a fencer beat 4 or more other tkms) so I guess they gotta be nerfed too..

first of all you have supression shot, don't complain about posture change from 15m when you can do it from 64m.


2nd, when you're kd'd a master tka w/ no vks do around 2600 normal. now 75% pvp dmg is 650. now add your armor. 325 plus, we'll assume crappy comp, 50%. now were at 163 dmg randomly spread out to 3 pools.


from the math you either must have had a downer from the spice or really need to readjust you're stats.


why did you even try to use a bleed on what should have been a short fight? you picked the two wrong shots to try and land and you paid for it. supression then strafe2 would have given you more time to get range, orflurry (til it stuck dizzy)/supressioncould have kd'ed him. tka only have +5 against dizzy and only +20 agains kd. and c'mon hs3? i thought it was commonly known that 3 isn't worth the HAM costs for the damage it does. stick to 2. and you knew he had a helmet. strafe2 would have done better. why specifically attack the only part covered in armor?


there are so many different tactics that a fighter can chose to take a tka out with but refuse to use. it'll be hell formelee when ranged fighters get off their ass and learn to fight again.

cause he had a small mind bar (like 750-800) and his HA were at like 3k


plus with all the dodge and counterattacks around, mindshots are the only ones that are going to for sure do damage. i figured i could kite for longer than 15 seconds
