Yeah, this happened several times to me today, too. I even managed to do /forceofwill while my powerboost was powering down; I stood up and was insta-incapped again.


This has got to be a bug (please, please let this be a bug.) I request that I take damage in the extra HAM from powerboost, instead of my normal health


I've also noticed a strange ~1K HAM drop while powerboosted. I'm Zabrak, and I suspect that it's from using my innate /vitalize ability before doing /powerboost (because that extra 50? HAM is important to me ) What I've seen happen is several minutes after I'm fully boosted, i lose a total of ~1000 - 1200 spread across all three HAM bars. What's happening here?

Power Boost wears off after it is done. You take damage at a rate of 15-20 everyone .5 seconds. Solution: Do not get damaged so much that you will incap after Power Boost runs down.


And as to how often you can do it: ANY time you are not Power Boosted... So about every 11 minutes with the rundown time.

yeah you have to wait till your rundown expires

I think this is pretty much the "enhanced ham" that TKA has always wanted


there's a tradeoff... you can stat migrate to optimize what you have in power boost... or be ready for ambushes

i could personaly care less of the health and action boost, i rather have mind boosted



way it is now after i power boost my mind goes from 1100 to 1658 and lasts about 10 minutes same for my action and health (all 3 get boosted)



if i read the post after the new changes only health and action gets boosted? bah useless like **edit** on a bull if you ask me

Actually Patina, a Master Dancer can increase your mind by 100% for a duration of approx. 2 hours.

Power Boost is too powerful. This ability should be moved to Master TKA and reduced in effectiveness tremendously. It's ridiculous to have 5k Health - 5k Action - 7k Mind even for 8 minutes.


Please balance this!

ok first of all we dont get 5k boosts...powerboost alone cant even get you to 2k per ham bar. so the ppl youve seen are muon goldiggers and such.

I love this skill, I feel more like a tank and act more like one too. It really depends on the creature/PC your attacking though. If they are mind attackers the extra 500 only makes a slight differance. I personally hate using drugs and usually don't unless I'm going PVP or attacking some serious creatures. I think this skill has a good timer as well. I can finish a full lair of pikets just before the stats start coming down(grouped of course). Ya it knocks me down to half and it it makes that much of a deal, take some muon gold to offset the instant mind reduction, 60 sec later your bully buffed along with the drug buff. Happy to see TKA/TKM is getting the attention it desrves..now if suggler would start getting the love it deserves, I'd be stoked.
