Thread: When will they see that TKM is overpowered

Hey now I am just stating some facts. Why dont any other classes get wound healing? What makes TKA so special, at 92 points, to heal wounds, and faster than a medic also? and heal posion and disease and bleeds and fire. So why are TKA so special?
And by the way, medics cannot heal wounds while dizzy also. Your buff argument is junk, If i could buff my self in just the primary stat's why wouldn't you? Healing damage in combat is a horse of different color, wound healing also cannot happen while in combat also, even for the medics.
So what is your argument, that you cant do it while under a state effect? This does not even touch my argument. That TKA can heal wounds faster than a medic. You stated that you cant healwounds in combat. When was the last time you healed your self of wounds while in combat, you are a medic, so answer that one?
Really I do ask Why? And the answer I get is I dont know what I am saying, or I am running off at the mouth.

TKA's are based off Classic Monks in roleplaying settings. Any roleplaying game I've ever played Monks have had similar abilities. A lot of times immunity to disease instead of curing it, a self heal, and sometimes even self buffing.
Every class has some things they do that are really cool. I went out with a commando to the Ewok caves on Endor and he was slaughtering whole groups of ewoks before I could get anywhere near them. I think that's pretty cool. Don't think I should get to do it, but hey, I will say that awesome that a guy can go in with a class and almost clear out an entire cave by himself.
Other classes have cool things as well. The Meditation line rocks. TKA, as the Monks of Star Wars, should have it. Other classes should not, but should get their own abilities that everyone else wants. Fencers not being hit, Pistoleers shooting fast (and possibly getting the two weapons style) that's the kind of thing that you should be looking for. Cool things for each class.
Maybe they should do something like the did with CH and spread the metitate skill points throught all the TKA trees.
But I mean there are lots of professions where people only pick up one tree for a specefic skill set, like smuggler or combat medic.

You can knockdown, cure desease-poison, hit the fastest in the game and not to mention pretty hard. I just dont see how there can be any debate what so ever that TKM is the most powerfull combat prof. You can simply look around in-game and see all the TKMs. The people that arent (TKM)...are hoping that there chosen prof. will be helped in the future in order to compete with TKMs. I would like to know what the devs intend to do about this. I dont know where the fix is ...they simply have more options ...( powerups - meditating ) ...I am curious to your thoughts ? ...honestly ...if your in a group with others ...can you feel you power over them ? and do you feel that the prof. needs nerfing in order to stop the whole world from becoming TKMs. Most of the PvP people that I know ( which is the only part of the game that I give a black about ) are becoming TKM because its a no-brainer. I am curious to what you all think should be done to back off the TKMs
Nori on Bria is one of my running mates.
PVP's regularly. Master Pistoleer only (Medic and CH other classes, doesn't use the pets much in PVP)
NEVER HAS LOST A DUEL TO A TKA MASTER!!
She never gets close enough for them to hit her. She never stops running. Never starts a duel closer than 20 m. (which is the big problem with a lot of the morons that PVP, they start right on top of a me as a TKA so of course I'm hitting knockdown first to STOP you from running)
Next time you are on ask her about it. I've not seen her lose to one yet. Nobody ever says nerf the pistoleer. Until they become the flavor of the month that is.
Hi. First off, 'dabbling' in the meditation skill tree won't grant a player wound healing... only Teras Kasi Masters get wound healing. And for the record, we can't heal fire, just poison and disease. Furthermore, we also can't apply buffs or healing to OTHER players - something I assume most people interested in teamplay would consider a limitation.
isn't wound healing meditate 4 as of now?
and while powerboost is great, very useful, etc, it is nowhere near as useful as doctor buffs. As was stated before, if I had to make a choice between the two, I'd take doctor buffs ranging from1k - 3200 (best i've personally had) to all 6 stats over my 500 to health/mind/action every time.

I suppose you don't see that TKs do only one type of damage, right? Every other profession (of the combat professions) has at least two types of damage.

Seems the developers are more busy adding "new contents" rather then actually fixing the bug and broken professions. GCW, bugs, and professions need to be on their top priority list.
EDIT: Oh and forgot, our knockdown is bugged too, so if we knock you down and someone comes by and knocks you down again, you pop right back up.
Doing a double KD knocks them right back up for Lunge2, also.
Lesson to be learned - don't do a double KD attack unless you wanna get someone knocked up.
most nerf herders are people who have no idea about what they are talking about.
As for the meditation line, put it like this. With it we lose one line where we could be given more defenses/attacks so in effect combat wise it hurts us (lil bit of a mind bender but just think about it fer a bit).
As for this 20m lunge, its master brawler, not tk.
Kiting does work, just dont start your duels within 20m (or even 35) an keep away from them an if it looks like theyre speedin up you better burst run yourself.
I was watching a fencer an a mtk dueling a few days ago, the fencer won (he was closer to novice than master). The tk basically incapped himself from the high costs on his specials. Hgih ham costs + high speed = fast self incaps.
Seriously stop calling nerf against others, it just makes you look bad.
You can heal your wounds faster than a master medic - ummm the game is supposed to be designed that a medic is the master ofDAMAGE healing and DOCTORS are supposed to be the masters of wound healing that's why in the medic tree you get Stim E's instead of wound healing E's read the guide

Hello,
Mybiggest beef with the tkm'S IS the meditation line.
You can heal your wounds faster than a master medic..
Buff your stats like a master doctor....
Cure posion and disease like a master doctor...
Jump up from an incapcitation...yet anotherdoctor skill
Now any one in the medical professions should be screaming nerf!A brawling class is better at your skills than you are. Why does one elite profession get all of this functionality? No idea. For 92 skill points it is way more economical to just get the meditate line from Tka then get medic or doctor. Hell the only thing you cant heal is battle fatigue. The Meditation line is way broken and needs a got swift hit from the nerf bat, because if it doesn't you can just get rid of medic and doctor professions.
Now i am expecting alot of flames for this, but look around you in the game. Meditating riflemen , commandos, pistoleers. It is way to easy to get this skill tree.
