I would love to explain to you the issues that TKAs face but it would just take to long. I think you will need to read the past posts to understand what people are trying to say however I will say that because of SOE's intrest in sales and profitthey are taking the strongest sales point out of SWG and that sales point is Star Wars because SWG is looking more and more like EQ in space and less and less like Star Wars.

I am a young TKA working my way up, i have no problem taking even cons. Do i use armor and VK? no. Do i use foods. yes. A good mix of Foods drinks, and skill is all you need to do well. also like someone already said, you just need to be able to adapt.

and to the person who says we are becoming the next commandos. sorry to say we dont have nearly the problems commandos do, and next in line are BH.

Also, i have found though its a pain the butt, TKA's alil head or equal to me do worse, why? I opted to go for master brawler and get the extra defense and offense mods, they are only like + 10ish depending, but they make a difference.

Remember dont just rely on KD. Intimidate and waycry are very helpful in a fight.

So lose the armor and VK. get some good food, and be a trans. nuff said good night....err morning whatever

Guess i wasnt clear. While I agree that our special moves do cost way to much ham. Anyone that relies on VK's is not a real TKA IMO. We are the master of unarmed, if you want to use a weapon be a fencer.

I do keep a great pair of VK's in my inventory, but only pull them out when i am using something with armor of light and dont want to suffer the neg dmg modifier for having no armor piercing. and I adaprt for using them.

I guess my whole problem with 90% of the TKA's out there whining is that they hate the HAM costs on the VK's, when I think they are fine right where they are. If you want to use a VK and full set of armor, fine go ahead, but dont be suprised when your ham bars get drained when using something simple like unarmed hit 1.

If you want to have the bonus's, just except that youll be suffering all the negatives. ok, done ranting. and yes my spelling and grammar are horrible. im alil tired hehe. and yes, im repetitive but so is everyone else /shrug

I think the con on the butterflies is messed up anyway. I can kill tougher stuff than them yet these blues still give me problems. Pesky little things. And ya it sucks to be incap by a baby...how embarrassing.

Why is knockdown so needed anyways? I do just fine against 12k HAM mobs without ever once using Lunge or Knockdown, why can't you people figure out theres more skills then just your knockdown on the big fuggin list? There is problems with the costs, the delays, read the boards we know, but Orius(sp?) is right about the main poster, *Hi I killed myself with my own stupidity and I'm quitting and blaming the game for it; call this what you will but it was their fault entirely, not the games*

I can still solo red's and yellow's back to back, and have minimal downtime. Our class has a few problems but we are far from outdated, people getting killed by ranged people in one shots, I do not know what your doing wrong, but in PvP a guy that's shooting a gun at me is as annoying as the little baby butterfly that only hits for 10-90 dmg, and I don't wear armor or clothing with even sockets, I don't need to...I think I'm done reading all the whiners posts on this board, I'm gonna go back to my UBER BUGGED OUT FUBARED NON PLAYABLE CLASS now and continue to impress myself with the fact that even though we've been getting shafted, we will always kick some serious ass.

As for Vortex's post, bravo sir....you did guud.

VanillaChrist, I can tell you right now that when and if you hit TKM, you will not be able to take down whites, yellows or red cons without using knockdown. You will die, and die very quickly, and all our other skills will not help one bit. Most of the people complaining (from what I have seen) about the class are TKM's. Without defensive skills you will not survive without KD.

I was wearing armour, Vk's to prove a point on the ham cost of KD, showing it to my brother and to a guild, and to a guy that does reviews for games..........

Believe me , I know that armour is worthless in this game. I know that you have to get naked to use a special.

It is all so stupid having to unequip stuff just to do a normal attack. A real first time in a game here, and very stupid.
