after Vader, Maul was my favorite villian in all the star wars films. he just looked awesome, and had a great fight between him and obi and qui, too bad it ended the way it did.
Unfortunately Lucas has some pathological disorder that forces him to kill the coolest characters in the lamest most anti-climactic ways...
Boba Fett- crash into the Sarlaac...with girlish scream.
Jango Fett- Lame one-shot decapitation instead of a dramatic fight.
Darth Maul- Lame one shot kill after impressive battle.
Emperor- Thrown down (conviently placed) reactor core... with girlish scream.
Darth Vader- Entire image killed by removing his helmet to reveal a pasty skinned old gimp
Stormtroopers on Endor- Beaten down by furry midgets with sticks and bones... occaisional girlish screams.
Ah well, c'est la vie.
Lmfao intensely at girlish screams....laughing while writing this...lol

Btw, the best fighter I have ever fought was a TKM/master defender.
He took almost no damage, and he didnt have any armor on.

Heh, well then, guess i found my next grind lol.
The thing about Darth Maul is that hes wreckless. He was a VERY powerful fighter, skilled in Teras Kasi and the dark Sith arts, truly an ultimately forged weapon...but he was just wreckless! When he felt his enemy was beaten, he'd toy with them before death, he'd become fixed with this, it happened in the comics and the book, Maul is truly sick.
Which brings me to another point i wanted to make. Anakin has the Sith eyes and so does Maul, but not Tyranus? Theres a difference there ijust cant put my finger on it.

Lucas killing off likeable charcters in the lamest ways was actually intential and strategic. When he wrote the origional screen plays they were so expansive that he didnt want the saga being focused on only a few charcters. The idea was to have alot of cool characters to keep the saga moving. Killing them off uncinematically make sthe reader think (wow he was cool , that sucks ect) It prevents an emotional atatchment to the character and prevents the charcter from dragging on until content for him becomes lame because the fans like him so much writters would be tempted to keep him going as long as possible.
The comic book world is plagued with this. Characters from the 60's are still 23 have died multiple times and been brought back to life so many times it kinda ruins it. Lucas didnt really want that. He wanted the saga to have the real life tones and themes that it was inspired by.
The idea was great it didnt play out the way he wanted to.
It was also a marketing and fan fair strategy. Show a few hours of a cool charcter makes the viewer want to leran more about him encourging people to dive into EU.

I think the timeline advances so far that Boba has become a BH.

If you wanna know the truth, Boba actually completes his first Bounty Hunter mission before Episode 3, shortly after Episode 2.

here's a few things they don't mention in the movies
teras kasi is an ancient art form supposed to only be taught on the planet bundkui in the pacanth reachpopulated by the near human race known as epicanthix
the monks that created the form are called the follower of palawa
teras kasi means "steel hands"
a teras kasi master is "supposed" to be able to concentrate and punch through most armor.
darth maul was NOT a teras kasi master but he did study the form and was high in the rankings
and PS
boba doesn't die, boba was such a bada$$ he set off a thermal detonator INSIDE the sarlaac, KILLED it, and crawled out...
yes ladies and gentlemen, he set off a grenade from INSIDE the belly of the sarlaac KILLED if, BLASTED a hole in the side of it and CRAWLED back to jabbas palace
look it up
