That's why The Empire Strikes Back was the greatest of the films. No cool characters were harmed in the making of that film. Hoth was overrun by giant walking tanks, Boba Fett was still someone to fear, Vader beat down Luke, Lando was a smarmy ladies' man instead of a flying around with a blubbering copilot. That movie was the peak of the Star Wars legend.

I still dont see why Jango and Maul couldnt have survived till Episode 3. Qui-Gon was a GREAT character, but i see why he had to die, but Maul and Jango, should htye have survived would have been great characters to build.

Maul could have been the prequel's vader...*sigh* i dunno. He had such a good personality, because Lucas didnt plague him with bad dialogue. Maul's expressions and gestures were perfect for a Sith Lord, a great character...George just doesnt know how to kill of characters.

Yea but...its just irritating, ya know? Boba didnt "die" until Episode 6. And hes not even really dead.

Darth Maul could have been the new Vader, like i said before. He had a memorable voice like Vader did and his lines were mostly short and simple.

Or you know what? At least give them a GOOD death...i know people who failed Creative Writing that could write up a better death than that...

Dont get me wrong, i still respect Lucas. I think hes a great writer, but should have let someone else diirect the films like he did for 5 and 6.

True.

He watched a recording of the ordeal that his helmet made, apparently it always is recording, and he blasted himself out. He lost his armor and all his clothing. Denger found a naked man ''baking'' in the sun around the sarlacc, that man was Boba Fett. He got him back into health and then Fett hunted down a fellow bounty hunter who also had Mandolorian Battle Armor, few shots laterhes back in full force.Fett got amechanized leg to replace his (left?) leg afterthesarlaccincident. One time after it, he trackedHan Solo to alarge storage building, they reached a draw and exchanged a few remarks.

I don't remember the whole thing(lost the book) butI know it ended when they had gunsstuck in each others guts andFett said,

"Everybody Dies"

Solo replies,

"Doesnt have to be today"

Yada Yada they walk away.

Yeah I'm a geek

Fett died. Lucas has gone on record in a televised interview saying he died. EU sources may have him living in stories but officially he died in the Pit of Karkoon.

I know you're probably tired of telling people Boba Fett is dead, but you're not as tired as I am about wondering just why it matters. The first thing i hear when i say i like Mandalorians is "Oh, but the Fettsboth died, they're weak." Does this mean people who are dead cant be honored or admired?

Im really not trying to blast you or anything, but try to understand that just like you have your right to believe whatever the hell you want, i have mine. Lucas says he intended for Boba to die, but the fans wouldnt let him die. It was also said that Lucas was going to film a scene showing Boba Fett climbing out of the Sarlacc for the DVDs, but that never came about.

StarWars.com Databank has all of the correct information regarding Star Wars. Whenever Lucas adds something that contridicts with what is in the databank, they upgrade it. So this means "officially" Boba Fett is not dead. But dont get me wrong, if you want to believe him to be dead, i am a firm believer infreedom of choice. I dont have to agree with it but i will fight for your right to have an opinion.

Some people dont even acknowledge the EU or the Prequels, and i think this is fine. But i also believe that when Igo out and buy the games, the books, the shirts, etc.I have ALL right to believe Boba Fett alive. I follow this EU as i believe it to be a part of Star Wars. If you dont bro, like i said, its all good. But i do.

Lucas trumps Starwars.com.

Lucas Interview

"He's a mysterious character. He's a provocative character. He seems like an all powerful character, except he gets killed. Although he's gotten killed, the people who write the books, and everything, and the comics say 'We cant kill him, we gotta bring him back, we can't let him die!'"

Atama from what i've written you seem to not grasp the point. I have all right to believe a fictional character to be alive in a fictional world because im a fan, just like how you have all right to believe him tobe dead. I just wanted you to take note that the Star Wars Databank says hes alive, and for information regarding anything Star Wars, the official website would be telling the truth, but that really doesnt even matter anyway. They give direct information from written books that fans may be catching up on. Its that simple.

Lucas trumps StarWars.com?

Like i've mentioned before, if there is anything George Lucas has written that shows he wanted Fett dead, it would be recorded in Star Wars.com databank. Please do not copy and paste interviews, because ive seen them a million times.

George wanted him dead, maybe, but obviously if it were fact that Boba Fett were dead, it'd show up on the databank...just drop it, please. Thats George's interpretation of Star Wars, not mine.

And by the way, that interview was made in 1999.

You can believe Luke Skywalker beat down Darth Vader with a candy cane if you want to. It doesn't matter.

I think it is interesting that Qui-Gon, after jumping back onto the Naboo shuttle, tells Obi-Wan that the Sith was ".. well trained in the Jedi Arts ..". I don't think the toughness of Darth Maul had anything to do with whether or not he was well trained as a Sith Padawan. I mean, watch the guy. The Teras Kasi influence obviously give him an advantage. So is it safe to say then, that quite possibly, a Jedi/Teras Kasi master would be the most kick ass fighter in the galaxy? Would their philisophical differences hinder or compliment each other? It seems that a master of not only one's own body, but also of the world around him/herself would be the ultimate fighting machine.
