All the references to PSGs, but I can never get mine to work... I know they are currently broken, but is there a way around it?

My understanding is that Intimidate halves someone's offensive power, while Stun is what hinders their defense...

It's questionable that CoB really works for TKAs, or that it does enough to make a difference.
i disagree, CoB has saved my tkm butt more than once...even a little damage stoppage builds up over time

you do understand that you can dodge, counterattack, and block, all while holding a vk right? don't believe me, go test it with someone.

Canape is stronger than ahisra by around 100 points I believe, but lasts 9 minutes or so, compared to Ahisra's 30-45 whatever minutes.

ummm what does cob do for you?
CoB enhances your 2ndary defences, such as dodge, block, and counterattack.
TKA's 2ndary defence is defensive acuity.
Defensive acuity gives you a better chance to dodge, block or counterattack, which only happens if you are holding the respective wepaons:
Dodge: Pistol, One handed melee (fencer)
Counterattack: Carbine, Two handed melee (Swordman)
Block: Rifle, Polearm (Pikeman)
So while holding VK's Cob enhances defensive acuity, which enhances skills you cant use, while holding said VK. So how does it help you?

I wtched 3 people beat on this guy last night, and not 1 point of damage was taken by him. he is also a master doc, so cant have that much defense. The people hitting him were also fencers with stun batons. there is no 90% stun armor, and even if there was and he used synthesteak, how is it that NOT1 POINT came off his ham.
Once the fight became a jedi gtef fest, he got knocked down-- then he started taking damage.

You need more defense, master fencers are nothing, its the master rifleman/master CMs u have to worry about.

I'll put it this way.
I'm a fencer, not even a master. When I use CoB in combat, my combat window shows "evade, evade, evade, etc.". It's amazing. It's not even close to that without CoB. When I use CoB with TKM, I can't tell that anything has changed.

im a former TKM(working on getting it back now) and a master fencer, and with a 60% Stun PSG 40% stun armor, and synthsteak, you dont take much damage, if hte person your fighting is also intimidated then, well then you basically dont take damage. But the thing with synthsteak is that it lasts for 40 or so attacks and hte PSGhave pretty low condition, so my tactic as a fencer is to land dizzy/lunge then scatterhit like a mad man to take out hte steak and PSG, since i hit pretty good with my 300 max acklay baton against 40% stun armor alone. Basically my tactic in any duel is to last so long that he has to start eating more food, replacing his PSG and such and the second i see one or the other break its KD time.
Of course i have a toolbar set up with 6 different janta DOT knives for those that carry lots of uncrated PSG's and synthsteak. most of them mind poisons 110 - 300 strenght, but they tend to take the mind down fast. Its a shame really that you have to be a DOT whore to PvP in this game

get a int/wc shirt AND bando...this'll put you close to or over 30+ in both
SCEW that food macro...worst idea ever, unless you only want to have onlyone fight per hour
brandy, arisha last 45m, take em alternately every 15 minutes or so.
when it's for PvP start with a brandy AND a synthsteak, 15 minutes later arisha, 15m later brandy....
This will keep you mindcost high enough to negate special costs, but leave room to take food when you actually need it (eg. pikatta pie, acc food, burstrun food, whatever).
Try to get pistol tech IV for kd/lunge defense

i have pistol tech IV and im buying some takitillo 95+ KD, so that should really really help.. right now i have +70KD defense...
If i decide to go with a PvP template i'll drop the BH pistols and do a 0440 fencer master pistoleer.. that should put me in the +85 dizzy +120 KD and defense vs Stun +55 and vs blind +90
Eat certein foods and i Should be able to almost never be on the floor...
I would like to keep the BH pistols as they give a LOT of power and i can still have a few nice things...
I would also like to keep bh for the purpose of the LLC if I encounter some droidekas in whatever mission or caves... I guess you are good for one thing only.. not both

actually you can end up on the floor quite often, i dont use KD moves with my fencer, i only use posture changes, so that KD food is not to good vs a fencer, the 85 dizzy def will probly save you some, but once it stick you will probly end up on hte ground
