I had my 80% kinetic armor.... But... the poisons where really the ones that got me going nuts!!!
stun armor, brandy, synthsteak, ahrisa, a 9 stat buff and muon for starters
you also need to use VKs no matter what, the light ar hurts bad
you should get some nyms vibro motors if you can

I have some PSG's Sliced over 60+ for stun protection. With my armor/foods I rarely take much damage from fencers. I can regenerate faster than they can damage me. Usually in duels against them I win or tie because they're well prepared and it lasts too long. Trust me I had a duel go on for 20+ minutes once. He laid down intimidate faster than I could heal it off and had a good supply of food/armor. So we don't have the offensive power of fencers, but we can last alot longer than them if played right.
Stun armor, PSG's (Imperial Prototype Works Very Well and has 3 times the condition) and synthsteak or in my preference Exo Protein waffers. You can pop alot more than synthsteaks.Start all duels with intimidate. And you shouldn't take much melee damage. If you intimdate a ranged profession you shouldn't take much more than 75 damage either.

About the pgs.. you are wrong, ive got a sliced for 55% resistance including stun... And I be they can get better
Also, think about the damage
Lets say a fencer hits 3,5k in pvp
With armor that will be: 75% pvp reduction, 50% pgs reduction, (50% AP/AR ? dont remember what stun baton was) and finally, 40% comp armor.... And 30% synth
Leaving you with 26 damage a second.. Doesnt last long, and probably not exactly like this, but you get the idea
now you were fighting only with synth
leaving you with 3,5k * 0,25 *0,7 =612 damage
Dunno how this work exactly, but this should give you a picture

"What do you heal the intimidate with???"
Novice doctors get the "heal state" ability.
Then they can use an Intimidated State Stimpack to remove Intimidation.

Are you just pure TKM? Or?
Well if youre going to declare I suggest you do the following before declaring:
-
- Get Doctor buffs -
- Get Musician buffs (for Willpower and Focus buff) -
- Dancer buff -
- Have Brandy ready (I usually drink both at the same time) -
- Have canape ready (dont use em, until u really need em) -
- Have muon gold (of all those things you should avoid this until u really10x need them :biggrin
-
- Power boost is also a handy thing, it makes you get added Health and Action buff. JUST DONT DO THIS 1-30 seconds before a fight, it lowers your Mind stat.
Do you have a supporting proffession? If you don't, I suggest you go get a supporting proffesion that at least can bring melee and ranged defense near cap (125). Or...you can be the CM, but I think you should not, its not fun just seeing your opponent tick to deathwhile you just run away from them.
Now onto PvP tactic :
After you get a supporting proffesion ora goodproven PvP template. You should do this during battle :
-
ALWAYS try to get your opponents in an INTIMIDATED state. Doing this especially against melee stackers, will nullify their second defenses ( Defensive-Acuity/Dodge/Counter-Attack/Block) and also halved/reduce their damage outcome. Nullifying their second defenses will make them SO MUCH EASIER TO HIT. Against a fencer with +100 dodge and not intimidating them? You will miss them a lot. -
Try to keep Center of Being running. If they expired, press the CoB button again. This will give you an extra defense that make you harder to hit by your opponents. -
Now when to use Warcry. During at start of fight the first thing I try to do is usually Warcry, followed with intimidate. If youre being overpowered and one of your pool is low, Warcry can sometimes help you to delay your death, and sometimes overturned the course of a battle. I remember one time I was overpowered by a Swordsman with his hammer, my mind has like a quarter left while my opponents have 3/4 more, I was dying quickly. What did I do? Warcry, luckilysticks, Intimidate sticks, the KD-Dizzy combo and they finally working. After that my opponent is on the ground keep falling down because of dizzywhile I just spam mindhit til he's dead. The melee stackers ARE so hard to get KD'd and have Dizzy stick, however, you have to keep trying because they will finally work. -
This is not a PvP tactic but also important. Inquire on Armor Attachments(AA) and Clothing Attachments(CA) that can improve your proffession. For TKM the most common being the Unarmed Damage and Unarmed Speed (CA and AA). The CA and AA that give plus defenses also important. One of the most important is CA/AA for Defense vs. KD. They can sell for millions, but this will pull you beyond the normal Teras Kasi Master.
I can tell you this much on how I fight as a TKM only, you can ask me on different/specific situations. However I also have MRifleman, so that skill changeson how IPvP beyond the KD-Dizzy-Mindhit combo.
Find your supporting proffession(s), keep PvPing to learn whats the strength and weaknesses of your template, look for a veteran in your server with a same template and learn from him.
Just my two cents

My understanding is that Intimidate halves someone's offensive power, while Stun is what hinders their defense...

It's questionable that CoB really works for TKAs, or that it does enough to make a difference.

Maybe you're right though Im not sure. My knowledge on Intimidate is that it nullifes second defenses. In any case after Intimidate you should try to put all States from your specials (Stun/Blind/Dizzy) onto your enemy first. Sorry if I forgot to add that.

THanks guys.... i guess the real problem was that i was totally un prepared... while he was 100% preparedfor it...
I'll know better next time.. and i have gotten a few tips.. i am setting a macro to auto eat all foods necessary to pvp achieving a 100% stomach fill... that includes brandy!!!
I have bought nutricakes, ahrisa, synthstake and a few others... I bought a +16 warcry +16 bleed shirt.. i haven't been able to find those clothing attachments and/or armor attachments...
So if anyone can point me out on the kettemoor server i will be most happy.

Go to Kettemoor Galaxy Trade Board/Forums.
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board?board.id=kettemoor_trade
Good CA and AA attachments are expensive and dont come by like composite suits. Make sure you go to the Trade Board of your server everyday. Sometimes when you are lucky there is a retiring TKM selling his AA and CA

About CoB, I think it works for TKA. Again in any case CoB is only a touch of your hotkey buttong. It does not hurt you pressing the button eventhough it does not do enough to make a difference. At leastit still do something (better than nothing), especially when your second defenses are active.
