Maybe if the Devs here about the Melee classes using pets as much as we do they will get the picture that we arent the Tanks we need to be. Maybe they will get the impression that Melee isnt Melee anymore but Melee/CH!

I dont know just a thought. It would be nice to not have to depend on pets though....but hell I love mine like they ARE my pets! Somtimes I feel bad about sending them in to do my dirty work...figure that!

fast exp and money , and how do i do that? if i wanted to know that question, its been answered a hundred times. pets and TKa, or doctor buffs and combnie the 3.

id really like to see posts about us training people to be TKs and not dependant on animals to tank for us, we are tanks not the pet. Id like to see posts about somone saying, hey i mastered to TK from novis w/o pets and w/o another class, but from unarmed 1 to master TK doing this. and i think X thing here is effective because it allowed me to do X thing.

although ya im part ch, lots of times i dont even call my pet, because i dont use them as a cruch, but as a weapon. adittiona 300 dmg per second with zero ham cost, is how i look at pets. i dont view them as massive tanks i can hide behind, and exploit with.

Nah seriously...I have been blasted for telling people to shut up or for being to "overboard" with my opinion...funny thing is, is that the very same people that blasted me are praising this guy for doing it...must just be because they agree with his view point..kinda biased non-consistent in my view...

But! You are absolutly right dude..if anyone has a better idead on how to get as far as I have as fast as I have on 'pure TKA skill' please let us know because you are more informed than I am....otherwise just keep using your buffs and pets and shut up! <<<<<<Just kidding about the shut up part just being smart!

Do you ever wonder why you don't see any tips that's not involving pet, doc's buff, food, spice?? Maybe it's because there isn't any. I didn't start using a pet til they nerfed knockdown. It was sad but it didn't stop me from finding another way. After the knockdown nerf, I realized why am I going up to take damage and have to wait like a retarded everytime I finish a mob for my HAM to go up instead just get something to tank for me?

Seriously, what is your suggestion on getting xp faster than with pets with doc's buff??

This methods may be told millionth times but there are new users on this board and the posts get buried. If you already know about it, good. We are helping people who doesn't.

I made to TKA from unarmed without pets, but I do use medic skill. I made to TKA 0142 without pets pre-nerf of knockdown. I have nothing against pets before or now.

Here's a tip for people doesn't want to use other skills to help leveling TK. Go fight corellian butterflies. When you kill enough of them......you will get to TKM.

lol Funny thing is i used stuff i could solo to lvl up my pets now i am TKM/MCH. The reason i have them is for pvp purposes they go and kill the kiters or attack the pets the send while i kill the dumb ones who stand near me or run away if they are to many. So who cares if we use pets it is whatit isa strategy, if i can help some TK novice to reach master by telling him to add pets it is up to them to decide if they want to.

Like isaid before I was TKM before i was a MCH and i used my trkm skills to become a MCH LOL.

You want to know how to make solo xp without a pet as a TKA? Go and kill stuff. Kill anything that moves, roam and hunt. Open up with intimidate, followed by the other debuffing moves. If you have pistol skills, open with a bleed. If you have medic skills, pop a stim B from time to time (and watch your mind bar). Lather, rinse repeat.

I may not be a TKM, but I don't really see any problem with grinding xp as a TKA. Some social mobs may prove to difficult, but there are enough blue or white mobs out there to provide you with a steady flow of exp.

Sure, it is not the most efficient way, but you will not be dependent on a single type of creatures.

no i did not read the orginal post that he made referance to. The last two days i have been on dathimor fighting these lizzard lairs with pets, and w/o pets it would be nearly impossible.

if he was wondering how you do this w/o the use of CH, id suggest that he needs to group in a group, because yes w/o having tanking ability outside that of the TKM its going to be pretty hard, and not as efficent.

I asumed he was making referance to the plethera of posts about leveling TK. these posts are filled with replies that say group with a doctor, or get a pet etc etc, and i think that although usefull advice, maybe there is other means to achieve these goals then simply calling spike or jumpy to aid you.

He really wasn't wondering how we do it without the use of CH. He simply just told us to shut up for give tips involve pets. Also, the tip is meanly for people that solo. I can't say these missions are impossible without pets because I have done it without them but it's just a lot of downtime. If you can get one at a time, it will be fine but if two gang on you, it's all over.
