As for original poster. Telling people to get master brawler is not a tip for pure TK skill......it still involved other skill. This is like telling commando to get master brawler because they had to go through unarmed to get to commando. As for telling them to kill bantha.......come on....Bantha??? they are for mounts....

i agree but i still think people are missing the point here.

im a TKM MCH too, but im not ever going to tell someone the solution to his/her problem is a pet. This is because i dont want cookie cutter TKAs, and im sure they dont want to have to be forced to be a CH to be viable either.

I use CH much as you said, a tactic for pvp, and extre firepower for pve, but when it comes to giving advice to people who are leveling up TK, if your going to suggest CH as an option, and you could really say somthing like, "imo its the best way " etc etc, but you should really give other options too.

like getting faction pets, or a non ch pet simply to be able to use the Squad leader function ( Rally) so that you can tank really effective in pve, or to say if your pistoleer to use bleed dots, and tk in wich case acts much as a pet in terms of additional dmg, and does not steal TK exp. Or you could say start off with comando flame dot, switch to TK. Or you could a mutitude of things.

What about the person who is new to the game, and tK is thier first thing they are working on....thats what i did. i had to rely on TK alone and specificly to level. What tips and tactics work best to help grind the levels in that case?

The trend latly has been solve your TK issues by inserting a CH pet. I think we can get a little more creative with our tips is all im saying.

Lets us pray.......Lord we ask for peace in this time of conflict...we ask that the hearts so hardned to CH be softened and their anger wained from the foreground. Bless the CHs lord and help us to use our pets as much as possible before we get nerfed.

And Lord help those so bitter toward us for saying "use pets" to learn to use them themselves so they may know the joy of CH and the joy of kicking butt with good pets so they may know theadvantges of having a pet while grinding TKA. -AMEN

well i see merit in both arguments.

1) buying a Cowardly gurreck, or a rock bettle to help you in the leveling process is a good tip, and nothing wrong with that

2) not every TK is going to take that advise, some people are just plain offended with having to use a pet, although perhaps a little nieve, would much rather here more then the same tip over and over, and over again.

Although having a pet is good advise, because it simply is, offering more means to gain the same goal, that is master TK, would be helpfull too.

The orginal poster as i see it really is right on the money, although probably this issue was blown out to be made a bigger issue then needed, he still has merit. Also the many posters who replied and said that having a pet is good advise, and trying to cencor the idea by simply saying its stupid advice has merit too. its not stupid advice to suggest using a pet, but then again i think other means aswell as a ch pet should be looked at when giving advice to people seeking questions as they hit the TKa grind.

Even comparing a human TKA and a wookie TKA at low levels, there is a big differance in tanking ability, and ham expsense vs the two. the wookie TK might be able to use bleeds and his tanking ability, while the human might find that using a pet to set up the initial tanking process more benifitical.

Although both can benifit from having a pet, and its as i said a good idea, i still believe that the orginal post, even though it was slightly aggressive, and blown out to a degree has a point.

It all come down to how people likes to play. I have nothing against people that don't use pet to grind but for him to tell us to shut up for giving tips involving pets to other people who find it useful is not reasonable.

Obviously you didn't read the tread with the tip, Valkari. It was simply tell people there are lizards on dethomir that gives out good xp and good money and tell them how we accomplish the mission in a faster and safer way. YES, you can do it without pets. You can pull them out one by one and take care them but then you WILL have downtime that you need to sit to regen your HAM. Also, these lizards poison or disease you which made them even more dangerous.

There are people never been out to dethomir because it's difficulty or don't know what to fight on it. So, we give our opinion on how WE did it. You want to follow or not is your problem but don't tell us to shut up because there are people find it useful.
