No area KD's. Two reason:
1.) It takes away from Pikeman. If there was an area KD for TKA, why would anyone be inclined to be pikeman?
2.) TKA has its own features, adding an area KD would further discourage actual GROUP hunting.

v bad idea. tk is already very strong. if we get that... well not much would stand a chance (within reason)
tkm is a combat style based on channeling your energies against one oppoenent, not against whole groups, thats the swordsmen/pikesmens job.
if we did get area kd's like pikemen, i for one would be very annoyed as i used to be a pikeman, and would still feel very cheated

i guess after all of these posts that i guess that ill not complain anymore. thx for all ur posts. and would pikeman/swordman masters and medic 2-0-4-0 bea good template? i mean i am thinking for dropping tka now.

Why drop it? It's a fantastic profession. we can do substantial damage to most MOBs in the game. And for those that we can't damage with TKA we can switch to another profession say...swordsman and go to town with that backed by the wonderfull TKA defences and buffed by TK powerboost. MY melee template on my alt if you are looking for a decent one is master TK/master swords/fencer 4400/ medic 0040/ FS melee speed.

TK allready kicks arse and were we to be given this it would seriously overpower os
are you kidding me? I've been a tk for 9 months now I like it for pve and I just like it in general its cool. But it's one of the worst proffessions for pvp.You can barely damage anyonecause everyoen has kinetic armor. Maybe the combat revamp will change that. They need to give tk's something besides only kinetic damage. The only reason I still have it is it has some nice defenses and you can't beat being able to heal your own wounds.

Honestly, I don't know what everyones problem is with TKA in PvP. I can do just fine TYVM. intimidate/stun/blind/dizzy/KD and you are golden.

If their armor has such high kinetic then it's pretty much high to everything. That is unless they are complete noobs and their armor isn't stun layered. Then again, what kind of noob PvP's without stun armor? Thats, thats,...just dumb.
Alternately, headhit1 is incredibly effective and killing just about anyone even through 80kinetic armor. The unarmed damage modifier overrides anything you have to say about armor that every other profession has to deal with right now.
