/agree - and if it hasn't been said already, the game is not designed so that you can just go around and solo everything. With reference to the AP point, yes AP1 is all we have but that's all we need - if you need a higher AP for any reason then group up with people who have it, such as swordsmen. You cannot have a profession that has it all, there'd be no point in different classifications. Remember the idea is about groups!

TKA is fine in PvP. If they resist your attacks they'll resist everyone. Besides, TKA isn't about doing the most damage to someone, it's about laying a ton of states and making them helpless, then beating the crap out of their mind stat while they flop around on the ground like a fish.

bah I rifleman kiting a tkm can tear one apart. I can tear one a part with dots....if you have any melee defense a tkm does nothing to you and especially with the 80kin armor. TKM are good against jedi though. The only good thing a TKM is good for in pvp is it's defenses.



Yeah btw head hit 1 is fine yeah...works great in pvp if you have someone on a downer with low mind and no melee...otherwise most pepole have mind buffs and alot of mind...I pvp all the time...yo0u rarely see a TKM pvping in a group...it's jsut not a good choice for pvp.

Be specific about that. TKA has the best toughness, and the 2nd best melee defenses and 3rd best ranged defenses, and only tied for last for most of the state defenses.

Well Antares, I'd say that qualifies as "isn't that great". Not terrible, but certainly not that great.

2nd best and 3rd best, by a good-sized margin is pretty good, along with the best toughness. I meant be specific because it's only the state defenses TKA lacks. Everything else is great.

TKM can land states -- extremely fast, very good toughness, can hit very very hard.

Personally, I don't want any new abilities added to TKM - because something else will get nerfed away in the future. Given our good qualities & current limitations (one damage type, etc), I'm hoping that TKM is determined by the devs to be a balanced profession - and hopefully emerge from the combat revamp in reasonable shape.

Bad idea. It would be very overpowering. Area kd is unique to pikeman, one of the only things they have. It wouldn't be fair to take that and give it to what is already considered by many players to be the best melee profession already. Unless you want everyone in the game to be a tkm. We have dizzy, we have knockdown, and we have a knockdown+dizzy attack. I'm more than content.
