I forget the exact percentages and how it works but when you force of will there is a chance you will

A) Be successful

B) Success w/ more wounds than normal

C) Fail

The real answer is probably in the TK faqs somewhere.

i dont know why but when im buffed i always completely heal when i with forceof will and have no wounds or anything like that but when im unbuffed i only heal halfway or get serious wounds. Rarely does it fail for me but then agains this is jsut me dont know if this happens to other ppl.

I'm guessing it might have to do with your stat migration, most notably focus and willpower

I have never paid attention to this before. I have always either failed or suceeded. I will look at this next time I use it

Come to think of it, I too have had mostly failures of FoW since 9.2. One time it wiped out my HAM bars completely (damage only) and several times I lost almost a third of my HAM to the black plague. I think I only had 2 successful FoW events all week.

Personally i'd only use it if your master. I heard its a 98% or so chance of bringing you back from incap. And w/o master its about 50%. Most of the time I ended up with bad wounds aswell so I just accepted the death.

I am master, and I used to have a fully succesfull recovery 80 to 90% of the time

I haven't used it much lately as I haven't been doing much combat, but it saved me having to rebuff last night. I had max foc/willwith music buffs, and it gave a full recovery. I don't remember many complete failures; most of the time it seems like it's either full or partial recovery. Probably enough successes to make me rely on it too greatly.
