If your not master, you have a 50/50 shotof it working at best. Anytime I've used it it stuck. The best is when it almost fully heals you as a result.

I used FoW in PvP once, freaked out the Imperials to the point where about 4 of them standing over me just stood in the same spot after I popped back up and did a /burstrun out of there.
It was the only time I tried it, and it worked like a charm.
I'll be making a macro for this shortly with multiple FoW attempts so I can smack it once I'm about to drop and hopefully I can get on my feet again before someone DB's me.
But, in the one time I used FoW I got full HAM bars like I'd not been hurt at all - I was buffed at the time.

It's been an issue for a while. In a patch ages ago they turned up how often highlevel mobs would deathblow, however it had the knock on effect of it been an automatic deathblow which happens at the splitsecond you incap.
From my personal experience it's worse on NPCs then it is on other creatures but it is an issue on them all. If I remember right this was brought up quite alot when it first started to happen but then very much faded away as people just put up with it.
A few seconds between the incap & the deathblow would be nice to be honnest so that we did have a chance to use it if we needed.

For what it is worth it is still one of our top issues. It is known at least, though most likely will be a fix in the Combat Upgrade instead of before.

I figured as much. Will be nice for it to be usful when fighting Nightsisters & other such things again.
Though I do hopeit's not too badtonight for the unarmoued (& maybe unbuffed) Gorax hunt I'm on.

force of will is in my view the most pointless ability in all of tka. All creatures that deathblow do it as soon as u get incaped no chance to use this skill. inpvp it is ok cause it takes a bit for humans to dbyou whilenpcdo it beforeyou hit theground

FOW is definatly not one of the most worthless skill's its saved my a$$ many times in PvP and when im about to drop in PvE i pre-emt the incap and spam FOW and it has worked every time for me.

I've actually had FOW work well for me recently when hunting NS. Surprisingly enough the spellweaver that got me dizzy'd and incapped me, didn't DB me immediately and when I got up, didn't attack at all. Just stood there. Long enough for me to get to my bike and recover some of my HAM before I returned to finish her off.

FOW of will is good. It works well against those high level npcs when you are running away and ur incapped but u keep running. You have some time to FOW before.

Don't get mad at the NPC's who insta deathblow you. You do it to them! Just imaginebeating ona Nightsister Elder for 10 minutes then she pops right back up with a possobility of full HAM. lol

Your best way to get FoW to work: make a macro!
Macro name: FoW
/forceofwill;
/macro FoW
This macro, when engaged just before incap, will give you your best chance of landing the FoW before a db is applied to you.
