Thread: force of will
So If someone can tell me thier unsatified or satisfied results on using Force of Will, that would be grand.
I think the only thing with Force Of Will is as far as I can tell we have never seen an official response to if it is working as Intended or how it is supposed to work.
Personally since last big patch I have had it fail more than succeed, so I think it may be bugged now.
If I had a choice on how'force of will'should work it would be.
The only ham that is set to 10 would be the one you are incapped on the others remain the same as they were before incap. Maybe to balance the power it should also create maybe 50 mind wounds for using it. (we can meditate this off later anyways). This would give you around 66% chance of not getting incaped right away again.
The other option would be to half thehams with a value and put that half value into theham with zero value.
The way it is at the moment if you happen to have a bleed as well you may as just wait for the db, you are not going to get a chance to even stopthe bleedor get away before being incapped again.
But either way atMaster TKAI think itshould be working at least 75% (100% would be better but may be classed as too powerful then) of the time not the 25% of the time it seems to at the moment.Maybe at mediate 4 it has a 50% chance of working succesfully.
Maybe if we could get an official word if it is supposed to be like this or bugged (like powerboost was).
the timer should be along the lines of 15 mins no fight should last that long as to be able to use FOW twice in one battle
I heartily agree with reducing the Force of Will timer. It would be nice to haveFoW usable when it's needed...and to have it actually work. A lot of times i've tried to use FoW and (not having used it for many hours before)i'd get a message saying i'm trying to get up, but i don't. Then it says i've already used my attempt. Then i get DB'd. At least if the timer was shorterthere would be a lot less frustration in that respect.
The length of burst run sounds just about right IMO.

You've fallen and you can't get up?
Seriously tohugh, I do agree. Timer should be reduced to the 10-15 minute range.
Ok so I've been a tka for a long time but being the world's slowest leveler I just got med4 last week. The force of will changes are great I believer EXCEPT for the hour timer. This makes the skill more of a novelty than a real advantage. I definitely think that this should have a timer but perhaps something closer to that of burst run. This would make sure someone can't realistically camp something they shouldn't be able to but it should also give those who spent the points on this line the ability to actually use the skill as necessary. This is probably my top issue with TKA currently (I'm very pleased with this class overall).

If you go down more than once per hour, you're probably doing something wrong and deserve to die.
Personally, I love FoW now. Heck, if I get incapped more than once per week, I deserve to die.

Not everyone has medic/doctor skills to go with TKA.

And ABC, I don't think I'm doing anything wrong but when I got incapped while killing two high level nightsisters (used FoW) then got incapped literally seconds before my DOT killed the Jedi Knight I was fighting and am killed for it (this was about 20 minutes in between the occurances btw) I don't think that's doing something wrong. I'm doing all this as a commando/tka with novice medic and NO pets of any kind.

Pre the most recent patch. IMO if my current mind is 2200 I should be able to boost 1100, not 550 (my base is 1100).
