The Missing Doc
Hey! Doc and I share a birthday... I'm19 years older but it was the same day.
The other thing I noticed is his VERY low post count. I assume that does not count his postes to the Devs directly, but still it's very low for a Correspondent. IMHO

And I, for one, most definitely appreciate it.
By the way, are you still a TK on any characters? I thought I remembered reading that you were at one point...
/bump
As for people saying that hes posting on the Correspondent forum I can almost guaruntee he isnt. If you click on his name it will say the last date he visited the forums.
I think its time for a new correspondent and we need one soon.

As well you shouldnt let it die Ryu. Ive been asking this same question myself and I believe you replied to one of my posts about it. All I can do is post a few tidbits here and there to get the TKA on the road to improvement. I made a "top 5" list to get us squared away with what we want. I PMed Vortexala last week and she somewhat agreed that he wasnt there. ( I dont think a corr. would bash another ).

The Correspondent forum is no longer attached to the main forums as it was in Beta...a year ago.
It is now a forum held on a separate server bracket only the Devs, Creators, Mods, and Correspondents can ever gain access to.
But it's not just Argule being quiet, Rifleman, Fencer, Marksman, Squad Leader...etc etc, many many correspondents are being quiet lately, and we can never tell if there is a gag-order or some other force restricting them from posting.
Even Tanks and Arjun, the most active correspondents aren't posting as much as before.

I saw that, and didn't have time to go back through the old information and see what may have been looked over yet, but I did plan to add to that today
Oh and Texxie, don't feel too bad... Smuggler_Caylin even had to make that statement

As I m practically a forum newb; isnt there a way to search the forum for the latest post made by said person ?
Yes, but the Correspondent Forum is a seperate entity, and therfore we are not privy to that information.
I m reading the smuggler forum as much as I m reading this forum, the difference in posts and voiced opinions by the correspondants of the forums differ ALOT.
Very true, and to me Smuggler_Caylin, Vortexala, and Tanks (I know others do as well, but I don't normally visit any other forums often enough to notice, although St. Gabriel has done a good job as well) are some of the best examples of Correspondents I have seen. They keep the community informed as well as making sure everyone knows they are still around, either through a post here and there or (and I have seen it) just creating a random thread to say hello.
But cant see the SoE crew complaining so he/she must have done something right.
Not necessarily, the SoE people don't appear to worry a whole lot until the Community voices their opinion (meaning a post that gets enough attention and outrage to have something done).

How can they appoint a correspondant, who only has 134 posts? He obviously isn't active on the boards. it should have been a community elder with 1200+ posts. If I am incorrect, let me know.

I don't think post count should be the only criteria, nor how long you have been in the game. But they certainly should be considerations. I am elder but I don't post a great deal. And I am not even close to being qualified to be a correspondent.

You are absolutely right. A post count should not be a deciding factor. Maybe a community vote should have been the standard. They should have selected people or had a nomination. There are quite a few TK that have really great post records with good information.
