DrArgule,

I will admit I was very concerned about your abilities as a Correspondent when you were selected, my posts welcoming you even stated my concern openly, and I must say that my fears have still not been abated.

To date you have not told us anything about what you have or have not spoken up for us about on the Correspondent Forum, nor do we even know if you have represented us in any way in all actuality. I have seen a few posts asking where you are, with no reply. I have seen quite a few people ask you for what you are relaying to the Developers, or what you plan to relay to the Developers, regarding our concerns on the Combat Balance, with no reply.

All I want is some interaction with the Community that puts faith into your abilities as Correspondent, such as displaying some of the attributes that, supposedly to become a Correspondent, you posess. Let me explain:

THUNDERHEART wrote:

- Are you knowledgeable about the Teras Kasi profession?
This one is one of the ones that has bugged me since you were named Correspondent. I have seen very few posts by you in this Forum, none of which were made before you were named Correspondent. I apologize, but that makes me doubt your abilities in the first place. However, the Community is here to help you if you have questions about the Profession, so I can overlook this one somewhat.

- Are you a community leader?
My answer for you on this one is NO. The reasoning being what I have already stated above, coupled with your lack of interactivity with the Community. How can you be a Community Leader if you never interact with them in any type of meaningful way?

One other thing has been bugging me, and that is the statement that THUNDERHEART makes here:

· Player Correspondents should be in touch with the communities concerns, understanding the essence of why players pursue their chosen profession.

I am sorry, but I do not feel that this statement applies to you at this time.

So, what do I want?

I want to see that you are doing what you were chosen to do. I want to know what you are planning to push for or not push for in the Combat Balance, I want to see that you are interacting with the Community in attempting to find out our concerns and fears, and I want to know that we are being adequately represented.

So DrArgule, do you have what it takes to be Correspondent?

I do not want to look like I am pileing on and I have not been a TKM but a week or 2. However I have to say DrArgule does not seem to be participating as much as the Correspondents in the other forums I frequent. As new as I am I would still like to know what is being discussed with the Devs. And what changes not to mention when we can expect to see said changes.

I agree. When he was announced I too had doubt. But I voiced on the boards that we should give him a chance and wait and see what happens. To date his 33 posts into the TK forum have not really shown an effort. Its my opinion the correspondent should be helping people with questions on these forums as much as anyone else...Heck vortexala (Texxie) has more posts here...The combat medic correspondent...

Argule may not be as active here -

-- but we have no idea how often he posts in the Correspondent forum, or what issues he brings to the Developers because Correspondents are so "hamstrung" by rules of what they can and cannot say.

But there's a chance he's fighting long and hard in the forums only they can see -- we never know.

Nah, I really don't need a higher post count. It's high enough as it is

Reason I post a lot here is because TK was a pure combat profession I've mastered in the past and loved every minute of to play. So when you were without a Corre previously, I came to help out a bit. When y'got one, I went back into lurk mode.

Just lettin' you know that I'm here to help if needed

I agree we have no clue what he is, or is not, saying on the Correspondent Forum. However, the rules do not stop him from posting here and telling us what he is telling teh Developers we want. That is something the Community is supposed to have compiled for the Correspondent to relay, not to rely on the Correspondent to have all of teh answers and push their own agenda.

Basically, I do not think we are being represented adequately, and I fear in the upcoming weeks, if left the way things are now, we will be sorely disappointed...

vortexala is there any way you can get a message to Thunderheart of whoever is in charge of managing Correspondents? If there is a reason for DrArgule's absence then it would be good if we were made aware of it. And if there is no known reason then perhaps it's time to appoint a new Correspondent.

While I may be new to TK, I intend to be here for quite some time and I want to be activly represented!

I've already poked TH about the TKAs, but he's really busy atm so it may take a bit for a response.

And I don't currently have a TK on any server, but I do have an alt that I'm slowly taking to TK
