If I could trouble Mor-Dan for some advice (or anyone else)? I'm a bit sh*te at this Stats lark, and I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on this issue.
I'm keyed for a TKA and Rifleman combination (currently TK Student, and Apprentice Sharpshooter). I'm Human. I have 70% Kinetic Ubese Armour. Currently, I have maxed out my HAM, and all my Secondary stats are set to minimum (the thought being I may not have great regen, but I could soak up more damage). Is this the right thing?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm equally new to the concept of armour - okay, new to the concept of actually being able to afford armour! LOL! A good friend purchased it for me!
The master armoursmith (Maximillian) recommended that Ubese would be the best for me, since it takes less out of the stats when worn. I THINK the difference between Compie and Ubese is the 'hit-points': composite has more hitpoints than Ubese, but I think any armour can be manufactured with high resists.

All I got to say is this fast and easy crash course on what to hunt is awesome. I did what you told me to hunt craze gurreck and in no time I just got to my first block on the tree. You guys are awesome. Thanks for the great advice.

the best armour to get, in all actuality, is Adv Composite. Adv Composite with kinteic layers on myserver is up to 80% kinetic resistance. otherwise, Adv Ubese is best. you tell the best by the little number out to the right of the word Kinetic. the higher the kinetic resistance, the better the armour is for this leveling.

composite generally has across the board resists of around 50-60%. ubese generally has much lower stats (20-30%), but an armorsmith can bring up kinetic specifically up to the 70%+ range. so composite is a better all round armor. but ubese is a lighter armor specifically made to protect from kinetic damage.
and as a sidenote... an armorsmith can bring up a specific resistance in composite up to the 70% range in the same way. it will just make the armor heavier....

if your looking for only kinetic resist, go for ubese because the encumberence is lower and you can get the kinetic on it just as high as composite.. both can hit 80+
if your going for all around resist, u can get layerd composite with 80+ kinetic and 50+ others, kills your ham secondaries though

would i be able to solo those crazed gurreck missions if im buffed and have 71% resist to kinetic? i have no medic skills and im only at unarmed 4.........can someone tell me what the payout for crazed gurrecks are so i can search easier for those missions..........

the payout is listed in the first post. no, you cant at unarmed 4. you dont have enough strength. you need bleeds.

The bleeding Technique doesnt give exp if the weapon fires ONLY BLEEDS!! What I did was macro my pistol bleeds shots and SPAMMED THEM to prevent an accidental fire, once both bleeds are on, just hit peaceand change to unarmed. Before the AT-ST nerf, I was able to Plvl friends to TKN in 45min or less.

It really shouldn't be a problem for you. I have almost the exact same armor and only had unarmed 4 when I tried the process last night. It was a little slow going, but I am now a novice tka. Just get yourself buffed before going, have a vibro knuckler, and you should be all set.

Oh, I had VKs. I just couldn't take full advantage of the damage they dealt since I wasn't certified to use them.
