I'm not on naboo currently... I logged in, bought a couple vehicles and went back to tatooine to give a couple to some people... but after I drop my armor off at my house, I can probably come back up there, and the walk won't take nearly as long =)

i've only fought 4 things so far... a group of DTs

each one continually tried to get up during the length of the dizzy, and as soon as the dizzy wore off, they stood straight up. what bugged the hell out of me was the one guy who would get up, hit me solidly, then fall back down.

i completely agree that they shouldn't be down forever, but i would have at least thought they wouldn't be constantly trying to get up until the dizzy wore off.

It was not a bug that the NPC's stayed down, it was listed in the last patch that if you dizzy a NPC and knock him down he "May" not get back up, this was actually added into the game the last patch, therefore it was not a "Bug"!

Ok.. if you want to get technical.. lets get technical. The patch that you're referring to was the one that they accidently destroyed knockdowns. An NPC would fall for maybe 1/2a second before ping ponging back up to either knock your teeth out or kite you into the ground. The devs so graciously changed that back so when a humanoid NPC was dizzy, they "may not get back up." But there is NO chance, no way whatsoever that they would allow you to kill any humanoid mob in the game simply because they were knocked down and to stupid to stand back up. So what you are saying that "added" do the game was actually a fix from when they broke it in the first place. I'm sure that a vast majority of the people remember when they devs accidently butchered knockdowns... But the next patch after their "fix" they apparently accidently broke the mobs ability to stand back up on their own free will the vast majority of the time, the same time they introduced the "knock-up" bug.

So to respond to you saying that once an NPC is down on the ground and dizzy, you've automatically won the fight... No... it is a bug and was fixed.

Yet at the same time it only makes sense to provide some leway. I mean, all considering since a TKA trying to hit something running away can be **edit** near impossible. I honestly feel that they should at least stay down the entirety of dizzy, and perhaps give some higher level NPC's better defense against dizzy.

I knocked down some Juntas and my party finished them off before he got up, but in other cases I have seen them get up. My warcry now however seems to suck big time. It doesn't seem to stick on any large creatures.

Can someone confirm this please? So, they've changed the terms eh? Instead of nerf, it's called a bug fix?

thank god this damage mitigation stuff is in then...

i was fighting DTs, and they were using fencer specials on me and only hitting for 625 with some of them....

their normal attacks were all under 100 except the 700 point bleed...

that hurt, a lot

I always equated it with a knockout or an incap. And, for me at least, the NPC's didn't always stay on its back. It was usually when I expected them to stay down that they'd get up and shoot me in the back.

Hmm. I hadn't heard anything about this from TH or the combat devs. I'll check to make sure this was intentional.

/sigh I guess this means I'll have to go ahead and work on pistoleer to kill the FS / holocron dropping NPC's, eh?

nah... they're still killable, you'll just have to pay a lot more attention to them

riddix... let me know if you want to go hunting for em again -- either DTs or whatever, i could always use another master TK around
