Thread: DEVS! TKA robes similar to Jedi Robes. Would work for all brawler classes and advanced classes.

Well I am not saying that it has to be just like Ryu's just using his as an example to show I don't mean a robe. As for robes we can always have robes but not robes with special abilities. Anyone can have neat robes but the Ryu like outfit is what I want to have with some sort of bonuses. As for the conception of the actual outfit that's all up to the art department.

verycool idea
be better as a lootable schematic or something. doing missions for an ancient TKM at the top of a mountain
maybe have similar things for other professions like the holsters pistoleers want. Little profession specific clothing.

i hawe stacked def and dodge so i berely use any armor that way i can use whatever i want.
But how about putting in some dodge and more def and remove our abilety to wear "heavy" armors like composite ubese and ris
just let us hawethe lower armors like tentel, marauder and the other light armors

While Im not totally convinced by the martial arts type costume I would deffeniatly like to see some sort of clothing for tka to come out. We are the forever watch dogs over the jedi, and I think that should have some status in the game. While not seen in the game I believe the excellant concept artist out there can come up with something for us. Maybe even add a mission of sort to gain one? I wouldnt mind seeing a tkm/tka based mission to grant us the costume of some sort.

Actually, and this has been brought up before, most of the stuff about Teräs Käsi hunting Jedi is from fan-made RPGs and encyclopedias which are even below "official" canonstatus. Even if we accept that, it's illogical to presume that because Teräs Käsi was used to hunt Jedi, then all Teräs Käsi practitionershunt Jedi. In the world of the educated, we call this a "hasty generalisation", and is a fallacy by definition!
How can we forget, by the way, that there are mentions of Teräs Käsi artists that didn't hunt Jedi at all. Some, such as Joclad Danva, who appearedin anarticlein the HoloNet News (officially sanctioned by LucasArts, and therefore canon) were Jedi themselves.
Not like this game follows any sort of continuity at all, but I think that certain geekwads should stop bending the facts to make Teräs Käsi out to be more "uber" than it is so that they can have their bottle and "own" everyone.
I really need a rolling eyes smiley.

little question about this ok the reason jedi are getting robes is because they are making it where jedi cant use armor.
now they could do that to jedi and i think the robe or the karate outfit or some type of ninja outfit is an awsome idea
my question is does this mean that jedi wouldnt be able to wear armor like jedi and if so what would happen to someone who is tka/pistoleer or tka/commando or pretty much tka/any other profession how would this work i dont know but i think this would be more buggy than fun.

Sticking to the topic... Find me a quote in any Star Wars book which talks about the Teräs Käsi artists having dedicated robes and I'll give the slightest crap. Until I see that, you're all just trying to be Bruce Lee.
