I have to say A.
when I bought SWGI didnt know what to expect. then I went looking around on the net while i was downloading the initial patch, thats when i found out about TKA. thought it was a cool idea. then read some more and found ou about CH....i figure thats a good character concept some guy thats not a real god people person so he spends alot of time out inb the woods meditating and playing with hes friends the animals. then i found out about BF.....there goes my "i dont like to go into cities" idea.
but i still like the idea of a guy sitting there side by side with hes pets beating the crap outta things.

D) You wanted to dabble in it for the defence (and / or) meditate skills.

F) Was master smuggler and pistoleer. TKA was the logical next step and the only other profession possible to master with the left over skill points.

On Radiant my guild had set up a city in an area with a lot of spawns, so every night until we moved the city we always had a bunch of people hunting mobs. Then one night a TKM in our guild came out to help and was mowing down every mob he could get a hand on. So, i created a new char on Ahazi, got him to TKN, and have been having the time of my life with him ever since.

I guess the last choice: other. When I first started reading about the TKA's in the EU, I was fascinated by the history and concepts. A martial arts enthusiast anyway, combined with my love of Star Wars was a no-brainer.

I am a recovering EQ addict.
I must say the most fun class/race I ever played in EQ was a dwarven cleric, he was able to deal damage, take damage, and heal damage.
The TK is more of a monk, but I chose the Doctor/TKA professions so I can heal, take, and deal damage along with the best of them.
I've had to endure 6 months of talk about the game, by co-workers, so I was familiar with all the professions.
TKA sounded fun, I don't want to sit 60m out, and twiddle my thumbs while tinking someones armor every 30 seconds.
I needed a combat profession, the game would be horrible to me if I did a non-combat profession only character.
I am only up 3/0/0/0 Brawler, so I haven't even touched TKA yet, but being a Medic and soon to be Doctor is fun.

I study Martial Arts in real life and I love it. So, when I heard that Star wars Galaxies was going to have Tera Kasi , I went out and got the game so I could be a Teras Kasi Master. And I have been a TKM ever since with no intent of ever dropping the profession. ( Unless quit the game )

I confess, I am a hologrinderand fell in love with it. I did not however keep it the first time I mastered it. Only when realizing the the hologrind would not be complete after my fifth profession did I decide to master it again. I have kept it throughout my grind since never looking back.

A, E and F
F = I liked TK from the SW:EU. "SW: Masters of Teras Kasi" sucked (sorry LucasArts) but I'm a collector.
E was just a bonus. I was already working on it before I clicked my free Christmas holo and got TK.

Combination of B and F
B) I always enjoyed watching a TKA in battle.
F) Over the past year of playing SWG I have never trained in any of the brawler skills. I was becoming bored with the ranged weapons line and wanted a change. I started working on unarmed about a month ago and am now aMaster TKA. I must say that workingup the TKA skillboxes was the most fun I have had in SWG.
