Has anyone used the new skill enhancing segments? After the patch, you might notice that SOE decided to stop w/the old type and created 'Armor Skill Enhancer' and 'Clothing Skill Enhancer' instead of the generic 'Skill Enhancing Item' that could be a 'plate' or a 'roll of tape.'

Questions that still haven't been answered:

Why do I get 115/123 skill when wearing +8? And if I log off, back on it's back to 115. I take off the items andI'm 108 now. Useless.

What does 'repair' do as opposed to 'weapon repair' or 'armor repair'? Does everyone have zero repair skill to start?

Skill enhancers over-write if a duplicate is added in the same item of clothing. It this correct?

Skill enhancers loose properties if the have more than one when added into clothing.

What does 'Grenade experementation' do now since Commandos didn't have crafting skills since beta?

If all the old skill enhancers are going to be nuked, or superceeded by 'new working items', I WANT AN EXCHANGE!

lol -- what did they say "We agree, this is a bug,...it will be fixed"

Sorry i just see all their reponses as worthless jokes....it would have taken someone 5 minutes to write all those replies not a month....

No actually, they got a lot. http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=bio-engineer&message.id=9741

More color bugs: (pardon me if these repeat any posts )

--Dress Uniform Jacket now allows for breastplate to be toned metal tones (was default gold onlybefore)..yay! but now can't change the colors of the sleeves LOL.

--Pocketed Shorts change colors of belt and buckle only, not shorts themselves

--Sigiled waist wrap changes colors of underskirt and leather pouch instead of underskirt and over skirt (which is now default aqua only)

--Luxurious gown allows for color change of lace skirt now, but is default to dark teal on top only.

--What is up with the white blob on the side of the boob with the Revealing Bikini? I don't think its supposed to be there...

--Necklaces still don't show up in crafting (or vendor) window..wouldn't be that much of a hardship if I knew that the top color palette was the setting and the bottom was the gems. Sometimes its reverse and I get bizarre looking results lol.

Can I make a request? Exotic Leotard...surely they should come in the full range of colors and not just pastel/drab?

Some of the colors got a "fix" but some of these items now broke other colors. Take Luxerious Gown - you used to not be able to change the bottom - now you can but not the top... gee 8)

Pocketed shorts now you can change the belt and the buckle but not the shorts color..woot colored pocketed shorts are now uber rare 8)

Sigled (sp)Waist Wrap - wookie item... now you cant change the skirt color only the inner trim and the little symbol

Many others like this.

One thing not mentioned (if it has been I apologize) is we need somewhere to list by server...planet...town the player owned stores. Atm it is sooo difficult to find except by word of mouth and that is not always reliable directions lol. Would be nice to have player owned stores maybe listed somehow in local cantina to give local businesses advertisement. Just an idea that would make it easier for me anyhow to find what I need.

With Advertising 3 your merchant can be listed globally. Click CTRL + V and search under Vendor.

This however is bugged, since every time the sever is rebooted we have to re-register our vendors. So as long as you are searching late at night when everyone has had a chance to re-register, you are in luck

First of all.... I didnt say anything about masters needing "custom colors" but I'm sure you all know that. I only asked for the +55 Tailor customization to be added back into master. =p

I dont know about the rest of you, but I am at the same time relieved... and dissapointed in them. These issues have been brought up and bugged about 5 million-billion times each, and they act as if they have never heard of them. These replies took over a month?

Well, I am glad at least that some of these things will be fixed in the future. I will make a new Big-List since most of the work that everyone did on that has been invalidated by the huge patch. Colors breaking in all new ways... stuff like that. I will try my best to update it with all the new information you guys have posted before I put it up. Try to do that today sometime.

Are there any other big bugs from the patch that I should know about? Currently I havent really played much since then because my vendors are STILL broken (wont initialize), with hundreds of items stuck on them, and my factory is working *sometimes* and I cant risk sticking any more resources into it. I havent harvested ANYTHING in 5 days because I asked my frined to sell me 10,000 power onto my vendor, and that was the night before they broke my vendor.... so now there is 10,000 power on her that I am obligated to buy... but I cant get to it... and I need that to run my harvesters... and I need the stuff from my harvesters to be able to craft .. Its a PICKLE!!

Anyways.. sorry for the venting hehehe, Maybe I've got a case of the mondays =P

Thanks Q for the replies (even if they are a dissapointment) and thanks everyone for being respectful to the messenger. hahahah

"I dont know about the rest of you, but I am at the same time relieved... and dissapointed in them. These issues have been brought up and bugged about 5 million-billion times each, and they act as if they have never heard of them. These replies took over a month?"

I raised the same issue with Holocron and this was my response:

"Well, three weeks, not a month. And the fact is, it's because we weren't able to even start looking at them until at least a week after we got them.

The reason for the new delay is because after posting the first batch, we saw that the responses were too terse, and were rightfully being accused of being too terse. So we figured we'd rewrite them to have more detail. We didn't get very far even with the crafter ones, you may have noticed. It takes a long time to write detailed answers to every question--more time than we have right now

On the last paragraph--yes, you're right. Generally speaking, stuff in the correspondent report is skipping past many many stages to get to the developers directly. The typical dev only gets the top ten CS ticket types per day. There are generally ZERO balance issues or profession issues in that list. The list is dominated by things that cut across multiple professions. A sfar as bugs--there's a lot of bugs in the database, and the bug reports go in, and it's very easy for them to get lost in the shuffle or prioritized at the wrong level. That's why we have the correspondents--to provide a sanity check on the bugs and escalate issues more directly. "

My original text:
"I still dont get it... It took a month to come up with these "We'll look into it answers" (note thats future tense), why couldn't you spend that month looking into it? Also, why were all the responses delayed if we still got "We'll look into it"

Note: I'm actually happy with my professions responses, its the correspondant program in general I have an issue with. "We'll look into it" makes it sound like they never heard of the issue before regarldess of how many times its been /bugged, or how many posts there are on it, or how many CSR tickets have been filled out on it."

Thanks for the Tailor lovin!!

Big problem post patch: all clothes on the vendor are uncategorized now (listed as 'unidentified object' i think?)...even pulling them all off the vendor (don't ask me how many I had on there..ugh) and relisting them did not categorize them. Now I have 100 high end Tailoring items that are sitting on the vendor in 'all' section, which most people don't use to sort. This is a really horrible thing...people are coming to my shop, hitting 'clothing' or even more specific category and seeing nothing.

FYI, Blode - if you completely retrieve the item into your pack and re-sell it the category will be fixed. It wasn't like that the first day or so, so Iwas pulling them off, destroying them, and re-making new ones (also had gotten Tailoring 3, so more sockets sort of justified this waste).
If you just withdraw it and re-list from the stockroom that isn't enough to fix it. It's a pain, but definitely worth it - start with the good items and do a few every so often...
