Thread: Tailor Issues Designer responses
i cant believe you people are excited over these non-answers
They have said the EXACT same thing to every problem every profession had listed...they offer no solutions or timeframes....
they listened, that makes me happy enough.
"we're working on it" >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> "(no response here)"
That's why.
Thanks for the Tailor lovin!!
Big problem post patch: all clothes on the vendor are uncategorized now (listed as 'unidentified object' i think?)...even pulling them all off the vendor (don't ask me how many I had on there..ugh) and relisting them did not categorize them. Now I have 100 high end Tailoring items that are sitting on the vendor in 'all' section, which most people don't use to sort. This is a really horrible thing...people are coming to my shop, hitting 'clothing' or even more specific category and seeing nothing.
I have the vendors barking to use the 'all' sort, but of course, they don't bark when I'm offline...../cry
A few items are sorted oddly too...cold weather gloves are misc and not hand wear? things like that...wookiee wear should have its own category as well ![]()
The BE issue is a whole other can of worms...but yes, 'enhanced clothing' doesn't really do anything otehr than give a nice placebo effect. That goes for socket gems too from what I hear.
Thank you! Thank you!! I can not wait to see these changes implemented!!

What I'm guessing as to why there's a cloaks category, and it's only GUESSING cause i haven't unlocked an FS slot, but the devs said at one point only Jedi will be able to make jedi type stuff, so I'm guess Jedi have at least one robe at each lvl they are that they can make, cloaks i mean, and that's what the category is for. BUT unless your jedi also becomes a tailor you wouldn't really need a cloak category anyway, it's not like you will have a ton of clothes to make (maybe jedi do, i don'tknow, if they can make their own cloaks as I'm guessing perhaps there is other jedi look clothing they can make). So I'm guessing the category is for them, when they use a clothing tool, seems to be kinda pointless for us Tailors, one lonely cloak. lol. Just my theory. Possibly the same on eyewear maybe Jedi can make eyewear? don't know why but that' guess is WAY out there (i thought eyewear would be limited to the people who purchased the Collector's Edition, at least for the first two years anyway).
Thank the Maker, they finally addressed the color issue. There's hope yet.
Bio-Engineered Clothing and Socketed Clothing have no effect. They are totally bugged. Many players are wasting countless hours chasing after Skil-Enhancers which shall do nada for their character.
There are a few issues. First typically the bonuses do not show up on the skill list. This can often be fixed by having the character get naked and logging out for 15 or more minutes. Once they log back in they can equip their clothes and see that their skills are looking buffed (such as Medicine Use +20/+44 (if they had +24 BE Med Use Clothing euipped). Getting naked and logging for a time should also allow the Socketed Buffs to be shown.
Unfortunately even when one is able to get the Clothing buffs to show, they game ignores them completely. Inthe above case of Medicine Use the player would have a Buffed value of +44. But if that player tries to use a StimPack C which takes a Medicine Use of 34 the game would not let him use it. It still thinks he is at +20 even though it looks like it realizes he is buffed.
It is the same with Sockets. There are Skill enhancers which add to many skills, including Active Pets. Active Pets allows a CH to use more than one pet at a time (assuming their Max Levels and things are high enough). So with a Socket containing an Active Pets +1 giving the Character +1/+2 on their Active Pets the CH should be able to control 2 low level pets at once. Unfortunately, again, the game is ignoring the Buffed values and limits the Skill to its base value.
Socketed and BE buffed Clothing offer no bonuses to their wearers currently. And most the player base is oblivious. This needs to be fixed and many view it as a High Priority.
"The weaponsmiths, armorsmiths, and tailors are the richest players in the game and now they get another way to make even more money!!"
What? I am? I didn't know that. After I sink maintenance money into my harvesters, house and vendors, pay forthe skills that my husband or someone else can't train me inI don't have any money left over. Now thatthey've made the missions worthless the whole ecomony systemhas been thrashed. Who has money anymore? I used to be able to maintain a bank account of at least 10k credits. That's still not rich by any means and could go really fast. I make stuff, butI don't sell muchsince I can't make the fancy duds that everyone wants yet.
Face it the economy system has been cut down to about 1/3 of what it was with the patch.

This is a Bio-Engineer issue and has been addressed by the Bio-Engineer designer in their forum already.
lol -- what did they say "We agree, this is a bug,...it will be fixed"
Sorry i just see all their reponses as worthless jokes....it would have taken someone 5 minutes to write all those replies not a month....
