Thread: [closed]Poll:the new tailored segment for wookiee armor [closed]
I'm sorry to those who want to see this but I have to agree with N'Jessi's explanation (and yes, I did read the dissenting opinions). Thank you, Noble Correspondent, for doing such hard work. Seriously, is there a better correspondant for any other profession? Not for any of the ones I've attempted, I'll say that much.
NO = KEEP IT
n'Jessa i will give my opinion on why you should not try to have this changed.
- It gives those of us who CHOOSE and ENJOY crafting/selling components soemthing else to make/sell
- It creates another dependancy on professions, whenever this is done in the game its good for the player base overall
- I have something to use expirimentation on! (i could care less about making clothes last longer lol people don't care that much)
personally i don't see the problem in this. If you don't like it don't craft it, don't go on and ruin it for those of us that see fun and excitment in this. I know medics who refuse to heal those that are not alligned to their cause so its okay not to make something that you don't feel like doing or telling people that your not going to make them..... just suck it up and let us craft it. PLEASE KEEP IT IN

It is a tailor nerf. Why should WE make componants for armorsmiths who will then turn around and take our wookiee clients from us? I would rather not be involved in this since it is a major slap in the face to tailors.

* I have no problem selling components/schematics to other classes when I can. I don't go out of my way to make surplus to sell.
* I do have a problem having the ability to make something that I have no use for! All other components I need to make for my tailoring. If they give us something to Tailor with this item, then I will change my vote.
I know some are thrilled with this but to me it's sending the message that we don't care what The Powers That Be give us, we'll take anything. Even if it's something that ONLY another profession gets use from. Yes, we get the honor of selling it to them, but that's not good enough for me.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Yes
I beleive it should be removed from tailor because I don't see any benefit to active tailors as a whole. I'd rather be allowed to experiment for some(any) effect on a component for anitem I can create and/or the item as a whole. The other problem I have with it is that the number of these items that will be ordered is very low (less wookies=less wookie armor) and that would not be a profitable venture for but a few tailors.
No keep it in our tree.
Much as I don't really like experimentation too much I 'm dying to stick it to some of the Armoursmiths who whine about me selling them synth clotha at 3k a crate and who sell just 1 suit of composite for millions and claim theyre not making money. AS must have just about the greates profit magin per product in the game. Besides that most of em whine about being too busy to produce there own components anyway. components keep my factories from being idle too long (not that they ever are anyway at the rate I use synth and trim)
